  1. JoeBring up the default 182 and stay with the 2d panel. Go around all the views and you will see the virtual views from the virtual cockpit, not 2d views. As per your instructions go to the FS9 cfg and change the "1" to a "0" and you will see that the virtual views are now missing. Just clear views all around except the 2d panel. Don't forget to change it back.RegardsTom Bennett
  2. Joe, When I have the FS9 default 182 2d front panel showing (for example), I can view to the right or left and you see the same vitual side and rear views etc that find in the 182 virtual cockpit. Many of my payware aircraft have 2d panels and virtual cockpit side views. Many others have only 2d panels and 2d side and rear views etc. In my situation, I didn't know that if you hit the wrong key (and this had to be the reason in my case) it will delete the FS9 virtual side views that go with the 2d panel "only" and not the 182 vitual cockpit and it's side views. This also deleted the 2d panel virtual side views of all my addon aircraft. The way I found out the views were missing was when I flew the payware Abacus E-2C Hawkeye and the 2d panel was there, but no virtual side views except for the virtual cockpit. The virtuals were always there when I flew in the past. I checked the aircraft panel cfg to see if there was a virtual cockpit listed and there was, but not showing in the Hawkeye with the 2d panel. As I said, when Microsoft was supporting FS9, I do recall them having me go into the FS9 cfg. for corrections when I had this problem in the past. Your solution was correct. Change the SEE_SELF=0 to SEE_SELF=1 in the FS9 cfg. and the virtual views came back. I now load the 182 every now and then to make sure the views are there. You can not correct in the aircraft menu.Hope you can understand this info. Thanks again for your help. Tom Bennett
  3. Joe, I rally don't know how to thank you. I have my views back and if they go out again, I'll know what to do. I thought I was going to have to reload and start from scratch again. Thanks again you saved me a lot aggravating work.Tom Bennett
  4. Lost my 2D virtual views? This effects all my addon 2D panels with virtual views. Example, 182 with 2D panel forward, but no side virtual views. Virtual panel views ok. This has happened one other time when Microsoft still supported FS9. I can't remember what the correction was. I think they used the FS9 disk to repair. I do know that the menu bar views can't correct it. I had to have hit a Key or key's that caused this. I'd hate to reload FS9 totally to get the views back.Any help would be appriciatedTBenn
