Thank you both for your help. Jake I will try & get what it is exactly that FSX comes up with when I try to shut the sim down after an NGX flight, b ut it is along the libes of something or the other not being installed. When the app the starts up again, there is a big re "Warning" hexagon telling me to reboot the computer before continuing. As I say I will try & get the exact error message for you. Hi Guys, As stated above I am pretty new to all this so please bear with me if you could. First of, when I installed NGX, there was a recommendation that I got my FSX.cfg file optimised for my system which I did. Problem I have now got is that this new file conflicts with some of the "settings" recommendations for NGX - Which ones to use? Second off & I know it has been covered in other posts but I am yet to find a difinative answer, I keep getting a FSX app crash when exiting an NGX flight. I think it is known on the board as a CTD error or similar? You know the sort of thing which ends up with a red warning hexagon after FSX re loads. Anyhow I just wondered what the up to date skinny is on all that & if there is a fix. Many thanks
