  1. I do infact have EZDok.
  2. What curve do I adjust for lets say when I move my head to the right? Not turn to the right but move to the right? that will fix a lot of issues.
  3. I am quite certain its not setup right as the motions I must make in order to get a good view of the overhead panel are such that no one would be able to do it every time they fly. Its quite drastic to the point I almost cant see my screen.
  4. I guess its not to far zoomed in anymore, however it still requires some very strange movements of my head to get a good clear view of the overhead panel. Very un natural and could become painful if having to do it often during a flight.
  5. Ok I plugged your profile in and gave it a go. Now I feel like I am sitting way to far forward in the NGX. I should be sitting back some. It also takes quite a bit of head movement to view the overhead panel. I feel like its better but still needs adjustment. Move my POV back some so im not so close to the panel, and make it easier to just glance up and to the right for the overhead panel instead of having to look all the way up and right.
  6. I have never been familiar with adjusting curves in anything that involves it. This setup is far more difficult than I thought it would be. Should the TrackIR be directly in the center of my monitor? Should I have to bend my neck in such ways to use this? It seems over the course of only an hour flight I'd have neck and back pains at this rate. I literally have to turn my head 90 degrees and down so much that my chin is forced to touch my chest (basically bending it as far down as you can) just to see the pedestal. I have only tried the PMDG 737 up to this point so I figured I'd give some other planes a try and in some the default view sets me so far back I am behind the pilots headrest and have no clue how to adjust the "default" and if the default will stick for each plane or if I'll have to change it each time I get into a new plane. So far I am very disappointed in this device :(
  7. I recently got my hands on a TrackIR 5, and have never used head tracking before. I have not downloaded any profiles or anything, and pretty much trying it straight out of the box. The TrackIR 5 software recognizes Profile: Default, Target: Flight Simulator X, with the settings of Speed: 1, and Smooth: 10. My focus plane is the PMDG 737-600/700 and I have noticed its quite hard to get around the cockpit with this thing. In order to get to the FMC I have to bend my head and a weird downwards angle and shove my head almost all the way to the screen, and then some times the TrackIR loses its signal due to me being so close. Also when trying to get to the overhead panel I have to pretty well move enough right I am almost off my chair, bend it sideways to get a proper view, and look quite a ways up, very awkward. Could some of you give me some pointers on how to set this up for a PMDG 737? Maybe a profile and instructions on how to use a profile? I am running on a 32in monitor in 1920x1080 res if that matters and the TrackIR device is aimed just slightly downwards as I sit lower than the top of the monitor just slightly. Also, using the TrackClip PRO. Thank you,
  8. I have tried those and found that when you touch down it shakes way to much. Not sure if its a realistic shake or not as I have never been in the cockpit of a 737-700 when it lands.
  9. Gonna give this a bump and see if anyone else has any input on the matter. Perfect vibration settings for the PMDG 737?
  10. Could someone share what vibration gain levels they use for the PMDG 737-700? I am using 6.0 on the RND, 0.20 Main level on the DHM, and the CR level is at 0.01
  11. Yeah the sound is nice, though I'd like to achieve the realistic shakiness first. It looks as though AES only works on some airports, and most of which are not in the USA. I thought EZDok was what gave the landing effect in the video I linked. When I land its like I hit the ground at mach 1 speeds, shakes all over the place and not very realistic, or smooth.
  12. What is "Bumping Center line Lights" ? I just want the landing shake effect to be something similar to this: Skip to 3:10 for the cockpit landing view.
  13. I am still getting mixed results with these vibration profiles :s molleh is saying to adjust it lower, others are saying its perfect for the PMDG 737, though the profile seems a bit harsh on landings and take offs. I just dont know where to put these settings.
  14. Ok so I set my DHM Gain to 0.20 and my RND to 7.0. Do these numbers seem reasonable?
  15. Alright I imported the vibration files into EZDok. Anyone have a good number for the ground vibration? I could just start adjusting the Global Gain but I am not real sure what feels realistic.
  16. I dont need the cameras, I just need the vibration profiles.
  17. Where do I search for these?
  18. Hey folks I was wondering if anyone had some "realistic" PMDG 737-700 vibration/ground effects settings for EZDok. Right now I am using the default ones that come with it. They seem OK but I was wondering if anyone had more realistic effect settings. My camera settings are fine, just need help tuning the ground effects. Thanks Gunn.

  21. I recently discovered the Service-based failures in this 600/700NGX package and think it sounds quite nice, and adds a bit more realism, and immersion. My question however is aside from seeing how many hours until a system needs serviced, how can you tell if any of the systems have been damaged, or destroyed? Is there any way to find such a thing in the FMC or can you only get hours until next service information out of it? For example, Lets say something is wrong with the APU. Will they FMC let you know that anywhere in the repairs or service pages?
  22. I recently made the switch from Active Sky X to Active Sky 2012. At the moment I am using REX 2.0 for textures and lighting, and using Active Sky 2012 for weather. Some of the AS2012 textures look quite nice and figured I would try them. After selecting all my textures and such in AS2012 and went ahead and hit "INSTALL" I get an unhandeled exception error. I have rebooted, reinstalled FSX, reinstalled AS2012, etc. So am I stuck with REX 2.0 textures or is there a way for me to fix this so I can try the AS2012 textures.P.S. Also in your guys opinion is this something I should not worry about if I already have REX 2.0 for reasons of REX having better textures? I just thought some of the cracked runway textures in AS2012 looked neat, as well as the rain sounds, etc.I will post a screenshot of the error below.http://min.us/mbmqcFKaF6 (NOTE: You can click the image to enlarge it once loaded)Thanks,Gunn
