  1. If you're using Windows 7, do this: Start -> Configuration -> Clock, Language and Region -> Change Location - and change it to the United States. '' -> '' -> '' -> Formats - and change all decimals to dots.
  2. Yes!!!! Thank you! You just saved me from emotional eating! THANK YOU!!!! And firehawk44, thank you too! Thanks everyone! Everything's working fine now!!
  3. Can you make a step by step guide one how to change your language settings in Windows 7? I don't want to make mistakes, you know.
  4. Tried it, nothing changed. Good guess though.
  5. I don't use anything else very much on my computer. FSX and Google Chrome are the basics for my computer actually. I don't have a problem with fully restoring my computer, because it was already getting kinda slow and stuff. I think it's a good idea to have a new, fresh start.
  6. That's really depressing to hear that. I gonna take some time to think what I'm gonna do next with my computer (probably following that tutorial...). Anyways, I wanna thank all of you guys who tried to help me, giving me suggestions and advice. I'm definitely gonna make more use of the forum! You guys were great and thank you for all your help, even though the problem hasn't been solved.
  7. Yes, I have an antivirus software (MalwareBytes), and they didn't told me anything about a virus at all.
  8. Yes, I do have them installed, but I meant that I uninstalled them when I uninstalled FSX. Sorry for the confusion.
  9. Yes, I had SP1 and SP2, and uninstalled them both too.
  10. I tried System Restore but I didn't get any further then the screen with ''restore points''. I can choose to at least 10-10-2012, but that's the point I decided to reinstall FSX, so that's useless. I'm very sure that the problem started 3 weeks ago (around 25-9-2012), but I can't choose that in the System Restore as you see.
  11. I have my computer in fully Dutch. And we don't know for sure if it's update-related, but I'm gonna give it a try. I'm gonna activate the system restore, set it to 3 weeks before this topic was started. The problems then began.
  12. I wish it was that easy and simple. I did reinstall FSX twice, and nothing changed. I think that a repair won't help either because the most extreme didn't helped at all.
  13. I don't get a error message at all. I downloaded and installed the latest Framework, and nothing changes. Does it work to you?
  14. I did EXACTLY what stood here, but nothing has changed. The situation is kinda hopeless right now...
  15. Actually, that is a really good suggestion! And I can remember that I had an update the day before the problem started! I think the number of people with this problem will grow if it's a Windows Update error.
