  1. Thanks for your post, Jim (firehawk44), I shall try everything out which you wrote in your reply. As its running late, I wont get round to this until the weekend though, but I will get back to you, thanks! Oh, I have got a box-load of Visual C++ from 2005 to 2008. 2010 was just the latest and would be from PMDG 737NG. Thanks again. Phil
  2. I too am at a loss. After running FSX for at least two years it has suddenly crashed. I cant even start it anymore! I uninstalled all my add-ons (that took me a whole day) then uninstalled FSX, re-booted my system and installed FSX again. After re-booting the system I started FSX, no problems. Then I installed SP1, re-booted the system and started FSX, again, no problems. SP2 was then installed, re-booted and crash! Here is my system : Cougar Tower i7-2600K @ 3.40Ghz GeForce GTX560Ti, Driver 320.49 running @ 1920x1080,60 16 GB-RAM WIN7 Home Premium 6.1.7601, Service Pack 1, build 7601 As soon as I uninstall SP2 again, everything is fine! I installed the 320.49 driver last night and then installed SP2 and it worked! (Firefox has also crashed at the same time as FSX, but it too was running again after the driver update). When I tried it again this evening, the same thing, crash at start-up (Firefox too!). I am sure that it all started when the last WIN7-Update was put on, but I could be mistaken (who doesnt blame MS for everything!). As I said at the start, two years of running without problems, now this! If there is anyone out there who could help me, you would make my day! (firehawk44 ???) (Just looked at my Visual c++ version, its 2010 x86, 10.0.40219) Phil
