  1. While I do have several wx sources available, I have AS checked as the source I want to use. For wind source, my choices are Disabled, Manual, Flight Simulator (X-Plane only)and NOAA. Which of these should I be using? Thanks, KJ
  2. The path in LNM for AS weather is populated as per this picture. Log.txt file sent to your email. Thanks again, KJ https://imgur.com/8sdBRuR
  3. I just bought AS for XP11. When I use the default AS metar by tuning com radio to 122.000, the metar report doesn't match what LNM is showing me. Sometimes it's as much as a 90 degree difference in wind direction and 10 kts in speed. I have LNM wx set to draw from AS, so I assumed that they should be the same. Wind source is pointed to the sim. XP11. To be honest, I'm not which add-on could be the culprit for this difference. I'd love to hear your opinion on this. Thanks, KJ Edit: I just changed the LNM wx input from AS to the sim. The wx information is much closer to the AS metar, but is still not exactly the same. The first test, the wind direction was within 5 degrees of matching as well as the speed was withing 5kts. I will continue this comparison at different locations to gain more information. With this change bringing the wx information more in line, I will be using this setting for the foreseeable future. Your input is would still be valuable. KJ Edit 2: I checked the wx at a station 200 miles away from the first. The wind direction is still off by 15 degrees but the velocity was within 3 kts. KJ
  4. Would you recommend that I switch the input in LNM airport weather source to the sim? Thank you for the details explanation. I appreciate it. KJ
  5. LNM will show wind direction and speed using a small info box at the top, middle of the screen. That information agrees with the information I get using the NOAAplugin for XP11. When you hover over the airport icon on the map you get 3 types of wx info. 1. X-Plane nearest metar. 2. NOAA nearest metar. 3. NOAA interpolated METAR. Funny thing is, these 3 sources don't always match. The weather source I have chosen for LNM is NOAA. The information given by LNM at the top center is never the same as the wx information that I receive when hovering over the airport icon. This does not keep me from using LNM and, in all reality, is not a deal breaker. It's just something that I noticed lately and was wondering if there is a fix for this. Thanks, KJ
  6. Thanks for the link. This is not the file that I downloaded previously.
  7. I found out that the download did not contain the new maps.
  8. I wanted to install the VFR map theme. Followed the instructions to the letter. Cleared the cache, dropped the data folders into the LNM main folder. LNM was not running at the time. None of the new themes show in the drop down box. Help is appreciated, KJ
