  1. turns out I failed to exercise the demons from the code. Uninstall and reinstall appears to have done that. She's a handful on takeoff. Great fun with this one.

  3. funny, I can't get the Arrow to move! Parking brake is off. Engine controls appear to agree that power is applied, I even see airspeed, but no motion! I'll try the uninstall and reinstall concept.
  4. Hi simmers, old fart here. Last time I loaded a sim, it was on my computer. Now Its more complicated. I love the flights I almost took (using fsx joystick buttons), but yeah, looking good. But today, no joy. The symptoms appear to be a problem with my xbox login, whatever that is. And I was told to go to xbox.com to fix my login, but it logged in just fine. My microsoft account seemed to be a point of awkward, as it never let go of the fact that I had such an account some years ago, and tried to cancel it. And I know you all mostly know this stuff now really well, who would you contact to redo the exbox connection to fs2020?
  5. Hi all, been flying sims so long that finding a real challenge was kind of exciting. landing a light plane is second nature to me, yet this landing was really hard. Take off from Bandon State S05 on the Oregon Coast. Fly 060 for a few minutes, and you'll see a valley with the town of Coquille off your left, tucked into the mountain side you are facing is a private strip called Gederos. Its asphalt with no number. Its in a cut in the forest, and if you land long you will be in trouble. Gederos is hard to find, and once you find it will be a fun landing. You can't approach high, you'll end up crashing into trees. You can't really do a touch and go, unless you have way more power than a cherokee or similar. Good luck, and I'll enjoy hearing of your successes!
  6. P3d and no doubt fsx also... Check out the ne corner of Washington State, for some awesome ga vfr flying. In specific, try flying Colville (63S) to Ferry co airport (R49). There are nearly no radio aids. Its mountainous wilderness, so having a good sectional, and following what few roads exist, is the surest way. Just flew it in a 172 and had a ton of fun.
  7. Thanks! You found it, and I suspect there's going to be a happy simmer out there somewhere! Cheers, Bob
  8. Hi all, Bob Bernstein here. Some years back I wrote a scenery product called Havey-Monroe for FS9, publshed by FSADDON. I had just finished the product when megascenery released their PNW for fs9. Of course there was a mismatch. I wrote a patch, to line up my product with theirs. The patch was released as freeware on the fsaddon site. Fast forward to today, a customer has just purchased pnw from megascenery and, only now, needs the patch. Apparently, FSADDON has cleaned off their server, I've built several new computers since then, and I haven't had a service request for years.....I can't find head nor tail of the patch. So....can anyone find their download: Harvey-Monroe patch for megascenery PNW? My customer would appreciate it! Best, Bob Bernstein
