  1. I really appreciate ANY effort of the XPX developers to bring us a quality add on as it is exactly what XPX needs. However I would not even compare SSG 748 to FF 757 right now. Just a different league...

I do not care so much about visuals, where the 748 apparently lacks. I can also live without the load manager, pushback, checklists, announcements, etc. The biggest issue of the 748 for me is the FMS integration. I am not sure choosing Javier's UFMC was the right choice. It already had many problems as a standalone add on and the same issues are present in 748. Most of the arrivals are missing approaches, incorrect transitions, messed up VNAV and so on.

Therefore the price of the 748 is not justified in my opinion.

  2. Valid from 2011:

ICAO: EDTO (Extended Diversion Time Operations) applicable to Twins, Tris and Quads

FAA: ETOPS (Extended Operations) applicable to Twins, Tris and Quads

EASA: ETOPS (Extended Twin Operations) applicable to Twins only and LROPS (Long Range Operations) applicable to Tris and Quads

Tris and Quads must comply for 180+ mins and have certain exemptions under Revised regulation 14 CFR 121.161.

  3. One question, from an XPX newby.....

If I install this mesh, how is it affected by further XPX updates-  do I need to re-install the new mesh after each update.  And... how does this mesh interact with other scenery products such as the UrbanMAXX product that I have installed?

    Thanks,  Bruce.

    Hi Bruce,

XPX update does NOT overwrite HD mesh data in the Custom Scenery folder. The HD mesh also interact very well with UrbanMAXX, no worries there.

Now let's put some stress test to my slow net connection...

    Thank you Andras!

Not pointing mistakes at all here, but just curious. My question is, why are the switches on the Overhead panel reversed in the
    ON/OFF positions?

As already explained by IXEG - reversed switches as per Lufthansa config. I believe they will release the plane with standard (non-reversed) switches.
