  1. She's all naked and ready to be played! I've only installed SP1 and SP2, and FSX is now on a dedicated hard drive partition. Hopefully we can figure it out.
  2. Oh the Commander 15? Yeah I love operating the loaders. The MD10's bellies are much better to work with than the A300s, AKE's always getting stuck and such. I'm going to reinstall my FSX under just the Cdrive, remove both avast and MWB and I will have Word Not Allowed look at it again. Hopefully it will be good news...
  3. Just disabled both programs, no difference, still getting around 15fps with occasional drops to 3.
  4. And just for the record, even clean FSX ran really poorly on this machine. The only way I've gotten smooth results was with DX10 enabled, and even that gave me artifacting. \
  5. This is a clean install of FSX, I just bought a SSD and installed windows 7 X64 + FSX. Okay so, I reverted all the Nvidia settings to default, renamed FSX, deleted the files and folders as you requested and I ran the test flight while still using the ingame settings you recommended from your guide. Idling on the end of the runway got me about 12-17 fps in the VC. With the ingame settings at Default I'm still getting around 15 FPS. I have yet to run FSMark on it.
  6. Just ran Superpi. On 1m it executed in 8.093, so the CPU is working, I will experiment with those settings and get back to you.
  7. I'm running FSX in full screen with AM at 14 and my ingame settings are exactly like the one on your site. Still only achieving 15-20 fps with traffic turned completely off and weather set to cold fronts. Hex
  8. Just tried it with a cold front and your scenery settings. It's still artifacting and getting a solid 15-20 fps when looking towards the horizon, panning down increases the fps naturally, but still much lower than it should be. It does seem slightly smoother, but I'm stumped. Is there anything I can link you or screenshot for you that may provide you with more information?
  9. I started with a fresh FSX.cfg, and added it in thinking I would need 1 stating the card for only 1 monitor, I simply misread. And no I am not using AS2012, only the weather generator that is included with REX, not displaying overcast. Also, there's still artifacting going on even when scenery settings are reverted to "Very High". Thanks! Hex Also noticed that my FPS is jumping from 15-20-30 fps all within a second or so, just with the QW757 sitting on the ground, I'm not sure if that is an indicator or not.
  10. HT Disabled, changed the settings you just noted. I have a 1 monitor setup, and I've been testing in KROC or Rochester NY. It's a good mix of Urban and rural. After changing those settings I am still experiencing around 15-20 fps.
  11. But still, I've followed your instructions, have the same settings in Nvidia Inspector and FSX and yet I get on average 20 fps in places where I should be getting 60. Alot of the times it's in the teens. Any idea Word Not Allowed? You seem to be the expert. Thanks Hex
  12. I've no Idea, All I have installed is REX, GEX, UTX and the QW757. Even on default it ran like crap. I'm no computer expert so Idk what the culprit is. Like I said, DX10 runs smooth as butter if that helps at all.
  13. What's really frustrating is that when I run it on DX10 preview mode, it's incredibly smooth. I'm at a loss as to what could be causing my DX9 to lag way more.. Hex
  14. Yeah that's what I was expecting! I dropped $600 on all the new parts and I'm still not seeing much of a difference if any. Oh well, I suppose tweaking is half the fun of it.
