    Wow OP! I used to operate one of those!

     

    Anyway, I'd like to hear how it all turned out after Word Not Allowed's help. Maybe there is something you can share with others.

     

    One thing I'd like to mention (from Paul J in the DX10 forums) is to try Alacrity PC. It can shut down non essential programs and restart them when you are done simming. Can't hurt and can save you some memory.

     

    Oh the Commander 15? Yeah I love operating the loaders. The MD10's bellies are much better to work with than the A300s, AKE's always getting stuck and such. I'm going to reinstall my FSX under just the Cdrive, remove both avast and MWB and I will have Word Not Allowed look at it again. Hopefully it will be good news...

    This is a clean install of FSX, I just bought a SSD and installed windows 7 X64 + FSX. Okay so, I reverted all the Nvidia settings to default, renamed FSX, deleted the files and folders as you requested and I ran the test flight while still using the ingame settings you recommended from your guide. Idling on the end of the runway got me about 12-17 fps in the VC. With the ingame settings at Default I'm still getting around 15 FPS. I have yet to run FSMark on it.

    I started with a fresh FSX.cfg, and added it in thinking I would need 1 stating the card for only 1 monitor, I simply misread. And no I am not using AS2012, only the weather generator that is included with REX, not displaying overcast. Also, there's still artifacting going on even when scenery settings are reverted to "Very High".

    Also noticed that my FPS is jumping from 15-20-30 fps all within a second or so, just with the QW757 sitting on the ground, I'm not sure if that is an indicator or not.

    Okay so.. I've gone through and completely revamped my CFG following Word Not Allowed's guide and using Syds specifications as a reference. I've got the slider settings along with Nvidia Inspector settings exactly as shown in Word Not Allowed's guide. I'm getting artifacting along with stuttering and a bit of lag.     When I set bufferpools to 0 and removed those options, my FSX started artifacting again. The stuttering is reduced, but not gone. And thats not even with all the settings maxed out.

    3. Install ALL of Word Not Allowed's updates. Check performance.
    Which updates are you referencing?

     

    I will start with a fresh CFG as recommended, follow Word Not Allowed's settings and then get back to you all.

    Hello All,

     

    I recently upgraded my PC with an i7 3770k OC'd at 4.6 and 16gb of ddr3 ram at 1866 and a gtx 580. I installed FSX, used Bojote's tool to tweak the CFG, along with including a few others I found from Kostas guide. My FSX runs very smooth with DX10 enabled, but i prefer to look of DX9 with the ENB series bloom. Anyways, my FSX is stuttering and lagging a bit, I've got the internal fps at 30 because I hate the blurries an external gives. I was surprised to see FSX running so poorly with this new setup, perhaps someone could guide me in the right direction. I've attached my CFG incase someone sees something that might be causing the stuttering.
