We have changed to only have 5 leased planes now. We got rid of the Skywagons.

Yes it can be fun. Hopefully my husband and I can keep it in the family as well, we will just have to wait and see when that time comes.

The flights are nice. We all love seeing how beautiful the landscapes and water are.

Hello All, J&M Airlines was founded on March 15th 2012 by Tom Jacobson (President/CEO), Chris McWilliams (Vice President),, Ben Evoy (COM), and Me, Kelsey McWilliams (CHRO). We have been doing a great deal of work on getting the routes, the fleet to the right expansion, and the website up and going. Now that we have most of the work done we are looking for experienced or willing to be taught more about flying, pilots. Our Fleet consists of seven leased planes, five of them single engine and multi-engine props and two of them jets. The single engine prop and multi-engine prop planes consist of a Beechcraft King Air C90B, Cessna Caravan 208B, two Cessna C185 Skywagons, and a Basler Turbo BT67. The jets are a Boeing B737-800 PAX and a Boeing B757-200 PAX. We have three hubs so far, all of them being in Alaska. The main hub is the Ted Stevens International Airport (PANC). Our other two hubs are the Aniak Airport (PANI), and the Homer Airport (PAHO). We are still seeking to continue expanding our reach but not at the present time. As an airline we decided to switch to the VAFS system. This is a much more involved and in-depth system. For example, if you schedule a flight that doesn't have a lot of passengers you can make up the space by choosing cargo that could make up the revenue of low ticket sales.
