  1. Only its not just Chaseplane. VFX Central doesn't start up either. Hell, not even their website loads.
  2. I thought I was the only one having this issue. This is BS :( Whats the logic behind me needing to verify who I am every single time before i launch a camera addon.
  3. Hello Elaine! I have reinstalled everything. Fresh install with Win10 Professional, fresh download of P3D v3, Installed it in its own partition. Installed my other addons first (so i had an existing exe.xml no worries), and I have gone though your guide step by step to install UT2. And it worked!! I guess my main issue was P3D in the main folder Thank you for all your support in this!
  4. Thank you for your replies Elaine, Everything is installed using admin mode, everything is running in admin mode. I think I won't check all my exe.xml s I have decided to reformat, install a fresh version of Win10 Proff, and install a fresh P3D into a location on a different drive than my OS. I think this is the best way to go forward now. I will install UT2 before I go ahead and install things that require migration tool. I'll let you know how it goes in a couple of days once i back up all my downloads and such. Thanks again!
  5. I get the error and the music. Only one error this time.
  6. Ok. At this point I just want to mention that right now before writing this post and re-adding exe.xml, When I wrote the previous quote I could hear the music. I'm going to do what you asked now. Ok. So I just added my exe.xml back into its original folder. I still get the music, but now the warning message popped up again. [EDIT] Funny enough, I now get two "Warning!" messages when I start P3D; two songs as well, one only slightly later than the other. (Both same exact message)
  7. I did not uninstall migration tool no, just have it disabled. When I took the dll files out, yes the warning did go away. Ok, so.
  8. Thanks for your reply. OK, so.. I am logged in as an administrator. I went ahead and gave myself ownership persmission for the entire "Lockheed Martin" folder in ProgramFiles(x86) ([name]/administrator) To check on the sound I had to re-activate it from the UT2 config. And yes, I can still hear the sound. I will just keep this on for the time being. [Edit] Rebooted I still get the Warning error message. This is the entry from my simobjects : Thanks
  9. Ok so I altered the FSX.cfg, rebooted and same situation exactly.
  10. Hello Poppet, Thank you for taking time to read our posts! Following up on the post by Andreas, (I am the friend he mentioned) I have P3D V3 installed to the default path. I do not have FSX. I have uninstalled UT2 from my PC and proceeded with my installation from scratch. I have installed everything as per your instructions. I made all the tweaks the same as your suggestion with ONE exception: SimObjectPaths.0=SimObjects\UT2 Aircraft <-- I have set this to 10 for me. It is sequential with the rest of my entries. I do not have any entry duplicated, nor does it skip any numbers. I am running everything in administrator mode. My UT2 configurator runs without any errors on the splash screen. I can now get into traffic repaints without an error (this used to be an issue when I installed using migration tool). It seems I can go through the entire configurator without any errors now. I have not made any changes except reduce traffic to 14% and remove the sound when P3D starts (I can confirm that I heard the sound after the fresh install) I will still get the "Warning! Flight Simulator did not shut down properly..." error every time I load P3D, even after rebooting. (This happened with both installs) I still do not have any traffic. Can you think of something else I can do besides a fresh reinstall of P3D? Will getting this error message ensure that something is going wrong and UT2 will not work? Thank you again!
