Other people have also been having trouble with this game on Windows 8, my advice would be to go to a backup before you upgraded from Win. 7... if you have a backup..

I just got a joystick today and wanted to play this game, i already have a Microsoft Live account from before (Xbox owner) and tried t log in. It says that the "Lie service might not be reliable, or that my firewall would not allow the connection. I can log into my Live account on the Chrome browser,but it won't let me log into this game. I would really like to know how to get logged in. On a side note, when i made my account, i used an email starting with www.(etc)@gmail.com and Microsoft registered my email as www.(etc)@gmail.com instead of (etc)@gmail.com , could this be the cause of the problem? [Edit] I downloaded this from the website, if it makes a difference.
