Hi When making a flightplan I rather often need a geographic navigation fix which is not in the data base (Updated NAVIGRAPH). The updated FMC USER'S MANUAL for PMDG 737NG - AOM page 30 Revision - 1.4 2APR04 and page 31 Revision - 1.4 23APR04 show three methods to fix the problem Place bearing/ Distance Latitude/Longitude Place bearing/Place bearing I generally fly the 737-800 version 1.1, and need unknown fixes. For DME approaches, for instance, I use the # 1 method which is easy and works fine. But when there is a succession of unknown waypoints (4, 5, 6 ...) for instance, method # 1 don't work, and method # 2 would be the best. Unfortunately, neither the format proposed, nor variations are accepted by the FMC, nor method # 3 Which are the correct formats for # 2 and # 3 methods?

Hello When FMC requires drag, I press the forward slash down. When no more drag is required, the message diasappears, and I can retract the spoilers. I press the forward slash down again, but, very often, the spoilers don't retract. Retraction is erratic. Some few times it works, but generally it does'nt. Therefore, I must open the Throttle panel, and manually pull up the command, then close the T panel. It's very disturbing to add this command in the various approach maneuvers, as much as I have a one-screen cfg! Anybody can help me to easily retrieve the spoilers?

I appreciate your answer, but there is a misunderstanding. I know how to use the VOR-ADF switches, but what i would care is to have the ICAO code written under the DME distance, instead of "DME1 or DME2". Here are 2 screens for a better understanding. ADF and VOR-DME 2 VOR-DME

Hello When flying, VORs and ADFs identification on the ND are listed in green or blue characters just under the distance, but named DME1, DME2, ADF1 or ADF2 (without any distance !) only. I would prefer to get their ICAO code right away instead, which would help to quickly know where I'm along the flight progress. I've seen it on a real AIRBUS. I did not chanced yet to check in a BOEING. So, is it possible to get it on the B 737 PMDG for FS 9?

Are you sure scandinavian13 ? Your recommandation is just opposite to the CD's one. Refer to attachment. I'm getting puzzled.

I used to fly 600/700 aircrafts (CD version 1.3) since years, and, last week, a friend installed an 800/900 aircrafts (CD version 1.1) over it for my hangar improvment. Since, my 600/700 aircrafts don't operate as they used to do. Very often Installation comes without avionics on the panel, but blank and Overhead inactive! I must install the MS CESSNA 172 first, actuate the avionics, then install the 600/700 aircrafts to chance to get the avionics back on the panel. But sometimes, it does not work at all! Neither CTRL-E. I also noticed that on the EFIS panel I have 2 ADF now, instead of 1 ADF before. So, I hesitate to use the 600/700 aircrafts when flightsimming now because of the unreliability of the installation/starting procedure and possible delay to get them ready. Please help me to recover 600/700 aircrafts available together with 800/900 aicrafts.

Hello For years, I used to simfly with my old PC with IDE HD. But recently it crashed, and I have been obliged to replace it by a new one with SATA HDs. I replaced VISTA by XP Pro 32 (the one I had on my previous PC) OK, but I could't install FSCopilot 1.7 Beta nor FSInn 1.3 beta to reach the flightsim community and fly with. I always got an error message back which stopped the installation process. Has anybody experienced to successfully process that install?
