  1. Hello, Can someone please advise on how to perform manual ILS approach? I'm exactly interested how to use PFD correctly. Should I use only horizontal and vertical G/S and LOC magenta symbols or it is somehow possible to make FD bars indicate position against glide slope and localizer radio signals? Perhaps it is possible to use FD as Directors? I tried several times and with very heavy winds I could clearly see FD is not guiding me to keep LOC and G/S symbols in their central positions. Thank you!
  2. Hi Phil, I have a question in the area of your profession. There is another post, but i write here too. I'm looking for documentation set which can help me to organise self study and training process. By reading FCOMs, FCTM I can get theory, where I can get a tasks to perform? For example how to set up correct Touch-n-Go training is not clear for me at all. Should I do IFR or VFR, ILS or Visual etc. Perhaps there is a kid of MegaBook where it says Day1, Task1 - Takeoff Engine failure training. Airport, Weather, Weight, Fuel, Task story, Goal? I even can't find what types of non standard operations are trained at simulator. Thank you in advance!
  3. Спасибо! I'm at EDDM, Sorry, no plans to visit Miami at the moment.
  4. Ha, that's a mistake in my post, I fly AEX A320, PT Tu-154, Suprunov Yak40 and now purchased T7. In reality I fly C172 and Yak18T only.
  5. Dear 777 Pilots, Can somebody advise where I can find a real flight training program for T7? I'm looking for flying lessons which include standard operations and non-standard operations training. I'm a pilot with A320, T154, Y40 experience and would like to discover T7 in a very professional way. I dream to have a training schedule with concrete tasks. For example this weekend I would like to train all engine failure situations and I need professional task story like place, weather, route, weight, fuel, failute type and task target. Even I have no idea for Touch and Go patterns. I know how to perform it, but not sure about weight and fuel values which are used for real lessons at simulators and live. Weather issues are also interesting. Crosswind final approach technique etc. Any ideas? Thank you in advacne!

  8. Hi, Thanks for recomendations! My MCP2A works now via LINDA as Boeing type with all buttons and rotarys. Only screen messgaes are wrong and mixed with that from Boeing. This can me managed by rewriting screen functions at common.lua. I did some chamges, but i'm bad lua programmer, nothing works in my case. With SerialFP2 there and default Airbus there are special symbols for AP1, AP2, A/THR and dot and round shown. I even don't know who can help us with this without SDK from VRi for MCP2A. br, Pavel
  9. Hi, Do I understand you correct that you mostly made Linda understand MCP2 Airbus as MCP2 Boeing with this latest Airbus Linda config files? (I didn't tried your recommendations yet and can't imagine your result) Thank you and best regards, Pavel
  10. Hi, I did my idea from the last post! MCP2A -> Key mapper SerialFP2 -> VJoy -> LINDA -> Aerosoft AEX 1. at MCP2A.ini of SerialFP2 i did new entry of aircraft3 with new key map and with with default dll 2. VJoy is here http://headsoft.com.au/index.php?category=vjoy 3. Rotary knobs are not functioning (maybe because of default dll) - have to investigate tommorow 4. Aerosoft, should release SDK finally! Tommorow I try your recomendations. Looks prette interesting to realize! Br, Pavel
  11. Hi, No, my MCP Airbus is not working with LINDA. I'm too bad in Lua programming to rewrite the common.lua and other files to make it run. I can write to to the screens, but just Hello World message. With Serial poert emulation I see it as Joy in FSUIPC. In fact Aerosoft Airbus is not using MS controls and I can't map the buttons. My experiment for today: 1. To set keyboard as vitual Joy via PPJoy 2. To map Airbus commands at LINDA for keyboard buttons 3. In FCU Combo Keymapper map keyboard buttons an write it to VRiSim.ini file with deafult DLL 4. Run FSX and VRiSim and run New key set with defauld Airbus DLL. It will show inputs at screens to ALT, HDG etc (but not read them from sim). I try it and reply here. br, Pavel
  12. Dear Artem, LINDA team, forum colleagues, Can you please help me to start developing for MCP? I have IT background (Dipl, Inf) and did programming experience at Uni, I'm more sysadmin than developer by basic education. I hope after some basic things I did 20 years ago at assembler, pascal, c/c++, sh I can do it. I understand Lua scripts, functions, variables etc. My target is MCP Combo Airbus type. It is recognised by LINDA in Boeing mode, but (as fas as I understand) scripts has to be changed to understand new Airbus type commands in RS232 and Linda should send new text to MCPs RS232. Perhaps commands are same, but... I need you help to understand LINDA better. My question: 1. Could you please tell which files I have to dig for writing to screens and reading buttons? 2. How to make a new entry for new MCP Airbus in drop down menu? Is it in lua script or inside the original code? 3. Can you please give a small example of Hello world! message lua code at MCP (Boeing or original) screen? With this MCP I feel myself as a kid with new Lego box )) I dream to send different messages from FSX to the screen. Weather, for example, FPS info string, GPS data, VATSIM messages, and many many. Just dreams. Thank you in advance for your reply, Best regards, Pavel Osipov (EDDM)
  13. Dear colleagues, Please let me join this club. I also have MCP Combo Airbus type and fly only Aerosoft Airbus X Extended. Last evening I spend hours trying to make things work. Just got same result with initMCP(). From the other side, I don't like Joystick simulation via COM port and FSUIPC. It's only one direction. I enjoy LINDA, and think its perfect! How can I support you with activities making LINDA 1.1 understand MCP Combo Airbus type? Thank you and best regards, Pavel Osipov (EDDM)
