  1. FSX Menu and ATC panel hidden

    The menu bar at the top of the screen is hidden from the list of functions (i.e. End Flight, Simulation Rate etc.) Also the ATC message is also hidden. I have used ALT to get menus and toggled ALT+Enter. Although the menus are hidden I can click on what appears the menu. I can scroll down the hidden menu and click on a function and it activates just like it would if I would be able to see it. It was working previously on Windows 7. I have windows 8 installed and was working. When I initiate FSX the splash screen comes up normally and the screen to select aircraft, weather, date/time, etc. comes up. If I select the aircraft for example the panel comes up as it always did but I can't answer the questions or comments from the ATC because it is hidden. Help.
