I tried using the program in a non Carenado product Aero Commander and it worked perfectly ! I am sure with some patience and creativity we can make it work in the 337

The "Panel" folder has a check box for read only.(Only applies to files in folder) I have unchecked it , hit apply, it asks to apply it to all files , hit yes. When you check the permissions again it is read only. The panel.cfg file is not read only, but the folder it is contained in "Panel" is. Am I missing an opportunity to run as admin? Thanks for all your help on this.

Went and changed it at the aircraft level and still end up with the same result. I'll keep digging.

No button options, I will see what I can find for the whole aircraft folder vs the panel folder access rights. thanks for the reply.

Long time flight sim enthusiast - First time post I recently bought the real sim GNS530 from real sim gear and installed Reality XP. When I run the add on tool in the program I am unable to save the new panel file that is created. " You need permission to perform this action" is the error that comes up when I try and save it. Background info- Windows 10/64 FSX SE addition Carenado 337 - it comes with a 530 installed in it. So far I have tried to change the panel folder permissions , but that did not resolve the issue. Any guidance would be appreciated. I understand these are all a little different. thank! - Jon
