Thanks guys for the replies! I have to admit I only wanted Rex because it was the "must have addon" atleast thats what I saw on youtube. I am sorry for the delay as I have been flying all over the place. I bought REX from fspilot shop and it lets you download 20 times within a year I think I had saw. I ran into a problem with it not loading the weather files but I had to reinstall fsx outside of the programs86 directory, apparently some kind of security measure within windows. I am going to follow this advice for now because otherwise I dont think I can appreciate the addons if I just assume thats how the game should go! But I did purchase GSX Ground services, I get a real kick out of watching them load the planes. Another question, and I am sure it bugs you guys too, is when I load up free flight, it always has my plane slightly moving with the parking brakes off. Is there anyway to set it so the brakes are one and not moving??

Hello all! I am waiting for my copy of fsx to come in the mail tomorrow! After doing alot of research I saw alot of people saying REX was one of the must have addons. Quick question when it comes to buying addons, as a steam user I really like digital downloads, but I don't know if I like buying digitally from other vendors. What I am really getting at is, with steam you can download the same game over and over again with no problems. If I buy REX from a store will they allow me to redownload it if needed? I noticed the download is about 8g so I am thinking about just ordering the CD in the mail too. I was thinking about ordering from fspilotshop if that matters or anyone knows if they will allow you to download as many times. I am guessing its just a 1 time download link and you have to save the file somewhere? Question 2 is I noticed the official site for REX shows a 3.0 version. I havent found a store selling it as specifically 3.0, but called "REX ESSENTIAL PLUS with OverDrive". Is this the same thing? I am guessing the 3.0 is just the patch update? If they make a 4.0 will the give that free too? Lots of questions!
