I'm not really sure if this is the right forum to post this, but this summer, we are going to travel, and i can really lug like a 10 pound laptop around to play FSX (yup, I use a laptop to play on it.). And since I can't do that, I was thinking of compressing the main FSX directory (which is about 24 GB in size) with WinZip to put into my 16 GB JumpDrive. Now my question is, if I compress FSX into a .zipx file, and then uncompress the folder on another computer where I will be staying at, will it impact the files whatsoever? My guess is no, but I just want to make sure. And if I can, which method of compression is the best apart from 'Best Method'? Any comments are appreciated.
