    Hi all, I tried the demo on my new windows 8 laptop and it worked, so I went out and bought FSX (with acceleration pack). However after installing the sim I click on the exe (in administrator, in WIN XP compatability) and I can't even get to the main menu. Same thing happens to the demo now too...! I click on the EXE the registration screen/splash screen appears, hard disc starts reading and then i get a CTD :( I appreciate there are lots of topics (and I will keep trawling and trying) so apologies for posting - I thought Id post my error log to see if anyone has any idea/can give me a starting point as to where my system is falling down:
