Oh....there is a menu called "PMDG | General | Display Frame Rate Tuning".... never paid attention to it before, because I had always used the 2D cockpit until a few weeks ago. Ok, now I have better gauge update rates (maybe 10 FPS). That's flyable, but it could be better though....

Ooops....I'll try that one. There is such an option for the Wilco 737 as well, but it still doesn't update smoothly. But I will try the same with the PMDG.... Thanks

Hi, I have used the 737-800 for several years now. Some weeks ago, I started to use the virtual cockpit instead of the 2D cockpit. I noticed that the update rate of the 3D-instruments is very low (about 2-4 frames per second) which destroys the realistic atmosphere of the virtual cockcpit. Everything else (moving in the VC with TrackIR, scenery) is very smooth. It seems to be a problem with the gauges, not with my system (3,2 GHz, 2 GB Ram, 320 GB disk, ATI Radeon 4670). I read in another thread that this might be a problem with ATI cards, is that true? I noticed that the PMDG 747-400 gauges have no such stuttering! Hm... What can I do to get smooth running gauges? If they ran smoothly, the VC would be perfect! Thanks Malte EDDH
