  1. Ok, i got it to stop crashing!! No need to have automationcore in the folder, it happened because i stop playing flight sims and went on to engage in race sims (tdu2) and i got crashed out the same way, the sound started to make weird noise and the screen got blue and black and what not so i said ok then, the fsx is healthy after all. So i just opened the google and found nvidia website and installed a specificic win 8 pro driver for my card and that was it. The FSX graphics after the install got poor a bit, there was no lag but u could see the texture was no near the image quality from the previous driver...but its gotten better eventually. But the most joy is that u can now play whatever mission or follow whatever flightplan u want, fly from north to south pole with no technical interruption and over 40 fps woohoo, good luck to anyone experiencing this stuff.
  2. My god, why i have no luck with flight sims?? I just installed microsoft flight which is supposed to support windows 8 and it crashes the same way. I bought the x-plane 10 installed and it wouldnt even let me in with an error. So i got get its updater and try to run it but it asks for the physical dvd which i dont have because i ordered the downloadable version.
  3. And oh yes, i forgot, it did freeze right at the beggining because i hit spacebar and scrolled down the mouse button to navigate the cockpit.
  4. Ok, it got even worse now with the acceleration pack on. Now the same mission freezes right from the start and keeps going. :(
  5. Fantastic, let me remove them all then and reinstall fsx deluxe alone and run it before applying any service packages then add the acceleration pack.....ok i just did that and, with hidden menu bar, as soon as i played the sitka approach mission and started aligning with the runway it crashed out to windows, then it debugged back into the game and then right after flying over the cruiser it crashed again and then before touching the groung it crashed again and it kept on repeating untill i had enough of it and quit. As you instructed, i found out i have framework 2 through 4.5. Now i guess i still have the option of installing the acceleration pack and see what happens, right?
  6. hello Jim, im running windows 8 on Dell xps2x and ctds just love me. Well what did i already do? I installed fsx fresh on its default folder, i installed sp1 right after, acceleration followed up since it has the sp2 included, then activesky 2012, then i put the vista famous anti crash *.dll file into the main fsx folder but when i tried to install the microsoft.net framework 3.5 as you suggested above, my install wizard doesnt respond so i dont know if it is installed or not :( and whitout knowing this, if i run the game again and it crashes i wont know what caused it. How do i proceed?
