  1. Is it mandatory to install the installer into C drive, I directed everything to D drive. Now stuck with Thrustmaster Throttle, Rudder and Joystick configuration through TARGET software, unable to locate root file (exe file) of the sim
  2. I completed downloads and installation day before. Now struck with Thrustmaster controls configuration through TARGET software to show the exe file path of the sim, though am able to map the buttons of Throttle, Rudder Pedals and Joystick.
  3. Hi, I installed Samsung NVMe M.2 1TB SSD as D Drive exclusively for MSFS2020 and downloaded MSFS to D drive from Microsoft Store App. All went well with couple of hang ups and now got stuck with configuration my Thrustmaster Joystick, Throttle and Rudder Pedals in the TARGET software, unable to direct it to the executable file of MSFS2020 though I could configure the buttons in the game. In P3D V4.5 its straight, you can find exe file in the game folder and direct it and show the path to TARGET software to work never faced problem. Though I could find Flightsiumlator exe file in D:\WindowsApps\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.7.12.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe this is not an executable file. I read in some other article that simulation gets launched through WpSystem , I could find only CFG file D:\WpSystem\S-1-5-21-3714596691-3681953293-2284956911-1001\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache. Unless all controls do not work can not play the game. Also another funny thing I observed after launching the game and by choosing Airbus and airport, the aircraft automatically starts and goes to hold short runway and takes clearance and try to fly...as I have no controls working the plane gets crashed. This is my present situation, trying to search for a solution from experienced pilots. Watching video of Squirrel may help for buttons configuration.
  4. I too observed same thing. But I left it to do its job. It took 7 hours for complete download of 95.15gb on a 150 maps internet connection. After installation the game started and it recognized my all three Thrustmaster controls but couldn't set any buttons. Only throttle was working, keyboard functions didn't work. I tried to choose my choice of airport but it limited to only 42 airports listed, all actions through mouse. I restarted the game after a crash now blue bar reaches 80% and nothing happens thereafter even waited for an hour. This is my present situation.
  5. I installed complete package and when I start the game the blue bar reaches 80% and hangs of course the music continously on and reminds me to do meditation...unfortunately my internet is down for maintenance
  6. Ideally Microsoft should have given step by step download and install guidelines before the launch date for a hassle free installation since this is a very large file setup. I haven't seen such communication.
  7. Yes, you need to wait, mine took 7 hours in between many please waits and long decompressing of files.
  8. I tried testing by clicking the Premium deluxe edition Launch button in MS Store on 9th of August and those files got installed
  9. Thanks for the suggestion Sam. At first place I pointed the installer to MSFS2020 folder in the D drive. After downloading 5gb I thought that, must have backup in the external hard drive permanently for future installation just like I do for P3DV4.5 and its add-ons. Since D drive is dedicated to MSFS installed program files from MS Store i.e msdownload.temp, WpSystem, Program files and WindowsApp. Now copying all 95.15gb content from external hard drive to MSFS2020 folder on D drive. Thank you.
  10. I downloaded 95.15gb to external hard drive, could you suggest how to make it to my desktop D drive as I couldn't find any installer in the downloaded files of 95.15gb. Thanks in advance
  11. just a quick clarification, I have three M.2 SSDs. 500gb for C drive, 1TB E drive exclusively for P3DV4.5 and another 1TB D drive exclusively for MSFS2020 now. First I started downloading MSFS directly on D drive and stopped it after 5gb download. Now am downloading it to external hard drive and reached about 85 gb of 95.15gb. Once download completes will install it to MSFS folder on D drive. Hope am doing it right?
  12. Agree with you. I shall drop the idea of going for 2080Ti for the time being. Will look for solution to bring the GPU temperature down. Thanks for your opinion. Also seriously thinking of going for 34 inch 4k curved monitor.
  13. Hi, My graphic card Titan X 12GB is three years old now, rising temperature to 84 degrees Celsius during entire flight. No cooling kit installed for GPU. Planning to go for RTX 2080TI. If 2080 Ti also having same temperatures for P3Dv4.3 then I have to rethink before placing order with local dealer. Requesting suggestion from expert simmers those who experienced with 2080Ti. Windows10 Pro, Gigabyte Z370 mother board, i7 8700K CPU with water cooler kit, GTX Titan X 12GB GPU, Samsung 970 Pro NVMe M.2 1TB (exclusively for P3Dv4.3) Samsung 970 pro NVMe M.2 500GB (C drive), Samsung 860 EVO 500 GB ( exclusively for FSX), Add on: Orbx: FTX Global Range all products, All regions and few Airports etc etc, ASP4, ASCA, REX TD Enhanced Edition with Soft Clouds, REX Sky Force 3, PMDG 747, 777, Aerosoft A318/319-A320-321 Professional, 1920 x 1080p monitor.
