  1. Hi All, I have a new install of Prepar3d V4 on a relatively new Windows 10 install (no P3D on this system install prior to V4). With all settings untouched at default, everything runs fine in the default scenario (100+fps), but when I switch to a new view (such as Spot), the fps drops to ~2fps. To regain smooth FPS I have to reset the scenario, but will be restricted to the default cockpit view, unless I want to see a massive FPS drop again. Interestingly, once the FPS rate has dropped, pausing the game sees the FPS rate return to normal, but unpausing sees it drop again. Brief system specs are: Windows 10 (on SSD) P3D V4 (clean install on SSD) i7 6700k @ 4 Ghz 16Gb RAM Asus Strix Nvidia 1080Ti Two monitor windows setup, but running P3D only on one monitor (an Asus GSYNC monitor) I'm perplexed as to what the issue is. I've tried reinstalling, deleting the generated files, unplugging usb devices, disabling monitors, disabling GSYNC, changing graphic settings, closing steam and unplugging Vive (steamVr liked to auto launch depsite being told not to), and rebooting. Nothing has worked so far. Would love any advice or help! Cheers, Fjord_flyer
  2. Yes, I had the same issue with my new Prepar3d V4 install. Stopped it by disconnecting my Vive. I also get a weird issue where my FPS drops to ~2fps when I change views from out of the default cockpit view. To get back to normal I have to restart the scenario, but am always restricted to the cockpit view if I don't want my fps to drop. I am wondering if the Vive had something to do with that? Cheers, Fjord
  3. I think I have the same problem with a new install of Prepar3d V4 (and on a newly installed Windows 10 system). Computer is an i7 6700K at 4Ghz, 1080Ti, 16 Gb RAM, Windows and P3D installed on an SSD. (Without touching any settings) It runs fine (over 100fps) with the default scenario when it loads into the cockpit, but drops to ~2fps when I change views. If I change back to the cockpit the fps is still slow. I have to restart the scenario to return to good fps. I've played with several in-game graphic settings and monitor setups but nothing has worked so far. Cheers, Fjord
