FTX Global purchase
Hi B, Thanks for your reply. I had an email today (Weds) asking if I had tried to pay with Eway. I didn't see any other way to pay with a credit card, so I did. This must be an Eway issue, so your advice is probably correct. I will try again. Cheers, Bob.

FTX Global purchase
Hi, I am also having a problem purchasing FTX Global, Vector and Open LC. On 15/3 I tried to buy from FSS with my credit card and got an error (D4491 - Card Issuer unavailable). I tried another credit card with same result. I tried them both again in case I put the wrong details in. That didn't work either. 1 card was a Barclaycard Visa, the other Marks and Spencer Mastercard. I contacted them via their site and got an email saying they would look into it. It is now 17/3 and no further contact. I realise I am in the U K, they are in Australia and there is a time difference but it's been 2 working days. I cannot buy FTX from any other source and think they could offer some remedy so they can take my AU$ 209. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Bob.

IPS vs TN
bobgreen replied to bobgreen's topic in Video Hardware: Monitors | Multi-Monitors | Video Cards | Drivers etcThanks for all your replys guys. As I'm new to SFX I only want one monitor at the moment and 23"or 24" would be good. (Leaves room on desk for additional screens at a later date) I'm trying to get the best of both worlds so I upped the budget a bit and went for an Eizo FS2333-BK. Link: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Eizo-FS2333-BK/dp/B008APX4P0/ref=pd_rhf_gw_p_t_1_HQC0 IPS and 3.4 ms. Delivery next Friday. Cheers, Bob.

IPS vs TN
Hi guys, I'm wondering whether anyone is using IPS panels instead of TNs. Does SFX run well on 5ms IPS monitors, or would you rather have the faster TN monitor? I'm asking because I am about to buy a new monitor and would appreciate your comments and advice. Thanks, Bob.

New monitor - advice needed
Hi, I am new to FSX and currently building a new PC. My new build consists: NZXT SWITCH 810 SE ASUS Z87-V Pro 1150 INTEl i5 4670K 3.40GHz 1150 CORSAIR 100i EXTREME ASUS GTX 660TI OC 2GB COOLERMASTER 850w silent pro SAMSUNG 840 250GB SSD (windows 7 64bit) SAMSUNG 840 500GB SSD (sfx + addons) Seagate 2TB Barracuda (data) GSkill 2x8GB 2400 Trident SAMSUNG optical drive When trying to decide on a 24" monitor, I am totally confused as to what is best - IPS or TN, 120Hz or 60Hz and 2ms or 5ms. My budget would be up to £200 and the PC would be used for general computing and FSX. So guys, can you advise me on what is the best type of monitor and maybe some suggestions? Thanks in advance, Bob.
