Hi everyone. This is my first post here as I am more of a reader than writer but this time I need to speak out. I'm one/two days ahead of building my dreamed PC and I need your quick advise or suggestions if the items I picked will work as good as they can(I was also thinking future-wise). This is my little gift for myself for finishing Air Traffic Controller course so I picked some high-end components without looking into my pocket. CPU: Intel Core i7-5930K, socket 2011-3, 64bit, 3.5GHz, 140W, cache 15MB, BOX (BX80648I75930K)
MOBO: Asus Rampage V Extreme/U3.1, 2011-v3, X99, 8xDDR4-2133, 10xUSB 3.0, WiFi, LAN ATX
RAM: G.Skill DDR4 16GB (4x4GB) Ripjaws4 3000MHz CL15 XMP2 Red (F4-3000C15Q-16GRR)
PSU: Corsair 1200W 80 PLUS Platinum, Modular CP-9020008-EU
Graphic Card: Gigabyte GeForce CUDA GTX980Ti, 6GB DDR5, 384BIT, 2xDVI, HDMI, 3xDisplayPort, BOX (GV-N98TG1 GAMING-6GD)
HDD: Western Digital WD Black 3TB WD3003FZEX <----DATA of all kinds
SDD1: Samsung 850 PRO ASAP 256GB 2,5" (MZ-7KE256BW) <------ Windows 7 64bit, plus all system apps
SDD2: Samsung 850 PRO ASAP 512GB 2,5" (MZ-7KE512BW) <------ P3D,FSX,DCS:World
CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro Series H110i GTX (CW-9060020-WW) (I'm planning to OC my CPU to 4.5GHz or more if it's gonna be stable)
Case: Corsair 780t
My main concern is the RAM. Let's say I want the best I could get in my country(but from the other hand don't want to go too crazy with it). Does 3000Mhz /CL15 good for sims? Does 3000Mhz give any difference? For the similair price I found this RAM: HyperX Predator 4x4GB 2400MHz DDR4 CL12 (HX424C12PB2K4/16) . It's got CL12 but it's only 2400Mhz. Does higher freq of RAM compensate bigger CL?
I would be very greatful for any opinions, help or advise and sorry for my English but it's not my first language.
