    The same to me. Porpoising of C172 Analog cockpit using autopilot is not fixed after last update. Setting climb rate higher as 200ft/min ends in Jo Jo after a while. Bernie

    The oscillating effect (jo jo of vertical speed) of the c172 is not away after last major update. Is there nobody in the internet who is able to adjust the flight mechanic better as the developers at Microsoft? I tried with no real success. Bernie Sterzenbach

    Meanwhile I am sure it is a bug. I tried with success change elevator_effectiveness = 1 to elevator_effectiveness = 0.1 at c:\Users\????\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Official\OneStore\asobo-aircraft-generic-piston-singleengine\SimObjects\Airplanes\Asobo_Generic_Piston_SingleEngine\

    Yes, all correctly set. During session flightlevel change was made, but that should not the reason fore the erratic unstable vertical speed. Further information: When vertical climbspeed was selected extremely low (e.g. not more as 200 ft/min) it was stable.

    My guess is the problem may related to elevator sensitivity. But since shortly there is not a possiblity to change Sensitivity in the control page and I do not know how to change that inside program configuration.

    Yes, I knew before to change such things. But it is to delete for me worth features I liked before. I will try change to bios setting of my Asus Rog Strix Z390F

    Yes, right. But now I do not start using msfs when the computer was in hibernate or sleep before. When I start MSFS after new computer start everything is fine and it stays perfect during flight. Now I have an other problem with the autopilot oszillating rapidly. I made a new post.

    This was the first thing I tried. This did not work. Also the Control Manager is buggy in Win 10.

    Hi, when the autopilot of Cessna 172 without glass cockpit is all correctly set and working, suddenly the altitude goes rapidly up and down. I tried already to change the Control Sensitivity but there is no adjustment control anymore. In my former time as real life pilot we said unstable oszillation. Bernie P.S. Why does Microsoft make more traditional cockpits. Many Pilots do not like glass cockpits for light aircrafts. In addition, glass cockpits are also not good for training.

    Hallo, ich habe mir eben den Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 vorbestellt. Dieses auf der deutschen Bestellseite. Dort war keine Sprachauswahl. Ich möchte keinesfalls den Simulator in deutscher Sprache, sondern in englisch. Wie kommt der Simulator? Oder ist er universell? Bernie

    First I bought the new prepar3d v4. The improvement was not as expected against P3d v3. I got my money back. I will buy it again when more compatible planes and accessories are available. What bdo you mean with "abuse"? LOL Bernie I know, your English is better, your German also?

    Many reasons: Scenery, multi monitor not as easy in P3D, clouds, no Force Feedback, visibility representation, contrast of picture, I have a lot of airplanes, scenery and so on bought for P3D, etc. pls excuse my bad english, my native language is german. Bernie

    Hi, I bought recently a download version of X-Plane 11 directly from Laminar Research. Now i went back to Prepar3D v3. Is it legal to sell my X-Plane 11 and how is the right procedure? I have an invoice and activation code. Bernie

    Thank You, it could have been the reason, but I had a complete older image of my dedicated P3D disk. After mounting all was o.k. again. Bernie :rolleyes:

    Hi, after new installation of v.2.4 it is not possible to load any saved flight. Then "No flight available to load" appears. When I try to save a flight, the flight appears in the correct folder. Also I can see it in the "Save Flight" window. Left of the folder "C:\users\bernie\documents\prepare3d v2 files" is a little closed padlock. My thougts were about file properties e.g. read only or so on. But I proved all is o.k. Can anybody help? Bernie :(
