  1. Update: Well, it turned out to be like Scoob said. It was the OS. Apparently I had corrupted registry files. I am using a Lenovo Y400 to run the game, and Lenovo uses a "One Key Recovery" that sets your computer back to day one. I used that, which reinstalled Windows 8.0 replacing Windows 8.1, and from there I installed a fresh copy of FSX Gold. I then tried to put Acceleration on the computer, but it would not take Acceleration due to a common installation error. I uninstalled Acceleration, and loaded SP1 and SP2 and then loaded ejets v2 and all worked well. Thanks all! Tom
  2. Hey Scoob, Thanks for the help. Do you have access to the feelthere forum? This guy had my exact same problem: http://forum.iemit.com/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=5070 With pictures and all. I did just send feelthere a help request. Are you able to access thread 4391 and repost it here? I am waiting for the email confirmation to get me onto their forum, but I think it may take awhile...... Thanks, Tom
  3. Here is an update. This guy had the exact same problem. http://forum.iemit.com/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=5070 My problem is I can not get on that forum, because it is recovering from spammers. The answer he gave is too cryptic for me to understand. Can anyone help? Thanks, Tom
  4. Thanks Scoob. I found this: your OS is faulty. your computer is missing a basic database reader or the references to the reader are corrupt. the reader is a standard OS component and should be present. see this linked thread for discussion - http://forum.iemit.com/Default.aspx?g=posts&t=4391 When I click on the link it tells me I do not have access. I also understand they are at a stand still for new registration because of a hack attack. This is another clue, I just do not know what it means: Problem is now solved as following: 1. HKEY_LOVAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Wow6432Node/ODBC/ODBCINST.INI/Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb) Add New String Value "Driver" with value: C:\Windows\system32\odbcjt32.dll 2. HKEY_LOVAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Wow6432Node/ODBC/ODBCINST.INI/Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb) Add New String Value "Setup" with value: C:\Windows\system32\odbcjt32.dll 3. HKEY_LOVAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Wow6432Node/ODBC/ODBCINST.INI/Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb, *accdb) Add New String Value "Driver" with value: C:\PROGRA~2\COMMON~1\MICROS~1\OFFICE12\ACEODBC.DLL 4. HKEY_LOVAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Wow6432Node/ODBC/ODBCINST.INI/Microsoft Access Drive (*.mdb, *accdb) Add New String Value "Setup" with value: C:\PROGRA~2\COMMON~1\MICROS~1\OFFICE12\ACEODBC.DLL Can you shed any light on this? Thanks Much, Tom Hey Scoob, Is this something a local computer place would understand? I am trying to run some E 175 scenarios for some training I am doing so if I could pay a local computer expert to track this down I would. Thanks, Tom
  5. So I reloaded from the disc. All is the same. My steps: I go to the config utility. Select cold and dark. Select E175. Start FSX. Select E175. Select KJFK. Select day. Select VFR Weather. Hit Fly Now. Cockpit comes up cold and dark. Batteries on, Apu started. Go to Nav,next, posit init, select 3R (GPS) it shows loaded. I then go to flight Plan expecting to see KJFK, but instead see yellow lines. I am unable to plug in KJFK. Is any of that wrong? Thanks, Tom
  6. I purchased them at FSPilotshop.com. I actually went to the harddrive and found the nd folder empty, I then purchased Navgraph data base, and STILL no luck. Sounds like I may need to reinstall the programs. Anyone have any other ideas?
  7. I tried JFK and DCA. I did try entering it with no Luck. I also can not enter a destination. I also can not pull up anything in Nav Ident. The Pos Sensors show the lat long for JFK, but no fixes or points seem to be known in the data base. Any ideas??? Tom
  8. No Dan, ATT Fail is extinguished. It is almost like there is nothing in the nav database. Could the fsx nav database not be loaded when using the feelthere ejets? Tom
  9. Hello All, I am a newbie, and did a search, but was unable to find help. I am using FSX with acceleration pack. I have Feelthere ejets v1 and 2. I am trying to load flightplan after loading PP. The PP loads, but then when I go to FPL page, the origin airport is not displayed. Just yellow lines. Any advice? Thanks, Tom
