  1. Based on the screen shots, I'd say your computer has run out of resources and cannot load the textures.  Sometimes loading a saved flight creates problems in FSX.  You might try loading your continuing journey as a new flight and see if it works.

it wasnt a saved, honestly i think something is just wrong with the scenery or something is conflicting. Because ill load my most intensive airports with pmdg 777 active sky etc and all textures load. tis is fsx though i guess

  2. So yesterday I landed in vrmm, weather was bad untill about 2000 feet. landed whatever easy. but now 24 hours later after just now turning pc on and attempting to fly back to dubai. My textures are grey, black and green. 2cc6e4d519e457dadc862b5cb4f86c1f.pngat first I was using free ware so I disabled it and it still happened. In the cockpit, three out of 6 screens load and 3 are just black but if I go out of the cockpit and come back in its all greyed out527342d2ed6efe5d70de6dd76bb73b8a.png So I decided to load at dubai to see if my entire sim is fubar, but it worked normally. So I decided to load with out activesky and it still wouldnt work. I thought maybe my virtual memory was getting hogged up by the bad weather thats currently going on but still same issue. Im not sure why now considering yesterday everything was perfect.

Edit, just tried it at KJFK fs dreamteam and sim worked perfectly, just seems to be this airport...

  3. Why do people want either the 787 or the A350, both are boring?  Push a button to takeoff, button to land and other than that monitor the systems.  The PMDG 777 was a masterclass in that, amazingly well developed aircraft, but so boring.

Older the better for me, late 50's, 60's and 70's aircraft, preferably Russian.

Because it's modern times. Speaking of times, get with it.

  4. Than if you don't touch the majestic control panel, how do you enter the weights  and fuel  and change the settings  like  the flight controls, engines  and displays etc?

I don't fly the dash 8 very much. I do use it for weights and fuel though.

  5. I immediately went into FSX to fly it after installation so I don't think you need to. I only went back to take a look after I wanted to do some configs.

The "bank angle" comes up every time I load the aircraft so I think that's normal. I'd suggest that you contact Majestic Support from the contact info on their website and they should be able to check what's up with the aircraft.

Will do! Thank you very much for your help.

  6. recommendation,

Sorry for being so abrupt with my comment. I see so many comments about the uiautomationcore.dll fixing FSX when I have positive proof in this forum that the uiautomationcore.dll does not work for many as they post their AppCrashView reports showing the uiautomationcore.dll is in their fsx folder but they are reporting a crash. I wish their was a file or setting that would fix every crash but there isn't. I hope your problem is fixed.

    Best regards,

I understand. I applied the uiautomationcore.dll awhile ago and FSX never crashed because of it until now. So I was a bit confused why it would be causing issues now. But since then I have learned  FSX is a very moody program.  :P

this may not work for everyone

it does for me on several platforms now

its a little trick i came up with a while ago

being familiar with the way MS works; thought it had merit to test

i created a fake uiautomationcore.dll and placed it fsx root (W7 and up)

    not a real uiautomationcore.dll; it’s just a blank text document i renamed

    from uiautomationcore.txt to uiautomationcore.dll

this does the trick for me

im not sure if FSX uses the file for something important

i do know; it looks for it at some point

my logic said; give it to him so it can move on

instead of spooling looking for it

there's no risk in trying this

other than being annoyed if it didn’t workout

which you already are at this point; so what do you have to lose :)

Thank you, I will try it.

  7. Well this started a week ago. When I go into my control settings in FSX and I double click to change something to a different button it will just stay on the not responding.

The program fsx.exe version 10.0.61472.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Action Center control panel.

Not too much info though. My FSX has been acting up a lot in the past week. GSX won't open, when I try to restart Couatl my fsdt buildings will disappear and the Couatl-powered products  in the addons will disappear but thats a whole different subject .
EDIT: also I have a issue when I left click and pop up the menu to change cameras and etc it tends to crash when I do it more than 5 times. Here is an error log when this happens

I already put the different uiautomationcore.dll in, not sure why its causing it to crash.

Oliver after set set all the same, Still no Call Outs

    Badfinger, very strange, i can't find file named fsx.cfg in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X  ??

Is it possible that FSX is working without it?

pete_auau: Menu PMDG, PMDG SETUP, OPTIONS, SOUND, replacing of:

<Realtek Digital Output (Realtek High Definition Audio) into Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio)    the same as FSX Settings

PMDG Call Outs are working now!!!

I am very happy and thank you all for this annoying issue, after replacing sound setting in PMDG, is it normal that there is an annoying sound is added?

try going to C:/localdisk/users/(what ever yours is named)/AppData/roaming/FSX. For your cfg
