  1. Hello all.

Recently I was flying to Innsbruck airport. I did the visual approach, which of course requires DME's.

At the departure airport, i regularly got ready for the departure and approach as well. At the approach part, I couldn't seem to enter the VOR frequencies in the VOR L, and VOR R fields, located on the NAV RAD page. It said "Invalid Entry" every time. I was able to insert frequencies manually in the PMDG 747.

I was wondering if they were any special way to enter these, or am I just not smart enough to figure that out? :P

    I appreciate your help.

  2. Hey. I have a problem. My FSX requires an activation key, but when I enter the key, the key doesn't seem to connect. I've entered the key a lot of times before, but this time, something went wrong. I reinstalled FSX, because I had problems with it. My FSX:Acceleration key doesn't seem to work either...

Is my key expired or anything? Can I contact microsoft and get the keys updated, or just get some new keys?

Please help...  :cray:   :Praying:  :Praying:

  3. Hello all. I have a problem with the VNAV, in the Boeing 747-400X.

I checked the legs page before taking off, and nothing seems wrong there.  Once I am airborn (just took off), I am turning on the autopilot. The LNAV and VNAV are armed. After a while, the speed only seems to be around 170 (right above "FLAPS UP"), and the altitude is about 4000 ft, which isn't matching to the altitudes and speeds that are on the legs page. Also, the altitudes (XX/XXX) on the legs page, becomes less and less.

I don't know what's going on.. I flew like that to the destination airport, and the altitudes/speeds didn't get any bigger. I could net set the flaps either, because the speed wasn't moving. I guess that there's something wrong with the VNAV. Any help?

hey, i have recently purchased the pmdg 747 package online and installed it. when i started the game and selected the aircraft for the first time it asked me to confirm some changes which i accepted. When i loaded the aircraft and started the game i realized the 2d and 3d panels wernt working properly. All of the led displays were just blacked out and many of the buttons did not respond/work such as the battery switch, apu switches etc so i could not even get any power to start up from 'cold and dark'. The problem is the same weather i start cold and dark or already powered up and ready to go on the runway...plz if anyone has had a similar problem or knows what i could possibly do let me know...p.s i dloaded and paid for the full package and successfully validated the product during installation (i have seen many posts that refer to blank displays as a validation problem)

Alright, I tried to re-install the Service Pack 2/Acceleration pack, and it worked, luckily!

  6. Hello all.

Once I bought the 747-400X and it all worked out fine. Some time later I reinstalled FSX due to black screens. Then I installed the PMDG 747-400X again. Now when I enter the cockpit, I can't press any buttons. They're not reacting when I'm clicking on them. The battery hatch will not open, and the standby power switch will not move, and when I turn the APU switch to START, it just stays on START. It doesn't go back to ON.

I'm having problem with the PMDG options menu as well. There is no menu, even though the 747-400X is installed. I can't select any fuel, select joystick buttons, select sounds, etc.

I don't know what is going on. I've tried to reinstall the 747-400X over and over again. It didn't work.  :(

Now I can only fly the Cessna C172SP.  :(

Does anyone know how to fix this?  :Praying:
