  1. Thanks for getting back...........I followed the posted directions to the letter before I posted my first comment, with the only difference being when i originally installed FSX I didn't even own Acceleration. I could not get the product key to be accepted. Subsequent to that, someone online suggested that if I installed Acceleration with FSX there would be no problem, so I purchased Acceleration and tried to re-install FSX without trying to activate it, and then install Acceleration. The problem is that you can't install Acceleration unless FSX is already activated, so that did me no good. I have run the Microsoft tool to reset the store and license but it will only reset the store, I don't know if this matters. The only entry I found in the upper filters was partmgr, nothing else so I did not edit the file. So the only thing that I have not done is load up a flight without trying to activate the product, so I will give that a shot tonight.
  2. Ok, so I am frustrated beyond belief with my activation issues, so this is my last attempt to try and find a solution......and forget Microsoft, those buffoons couldn't find their proverbial.....well you know what with both hands. I purchased FS X about a month ago, and spent over 12 hours on the phone with Microsoft trying to find a solution to my activation woes. I was transferred about 9 times and the last time I got unknowingly turned over to a third party tech who rifled through my personal files and then demanded 600 dollars or my computer would "crash in two days". Well, she was right about that, but that is another issue. Restored my operating system, running windows 7 64 bit. Went back to the store and got another copy of FS X, with a new product key and the same problem. I have tried the work arounds suggested here but none work. I have no options left so I am looking for any help at all. The last thing I tried was to modify the dlxkey file by putting in my product key, and then went to the registry to modify from 0 to partmgr but there was no need as that key was already partmgr. Rebooted and input my key but no luck. Does anyone have any suggestions at all?
