  1. byork, Thank you for your help! I am now able to see the command buttons in VR!
  2. Manuel, Thank you for your tips, I followed your instructions and I am now able to display the window pane in VR by pressing "Open sub panel". Now on to learning how to operate Pushback Express.
  3. Hello I am a new user to Pushback Express for MSFS, just purchased it last month. Seems to have installed OK since control panel opens in cockpit when I launch my flight at a parking stand in 2D using default Cessna Longtitude. My problem is when I switch to VR using my Reverb G2 (OpenXR and not Steam VR). After selecting the Pushback Express icon on the top center menu choices, I do get Pushback Express selected window that says "Launch application" open However when I press "Launch application" nothing happens. There are no command choices, only "Launch application". When I switch out of VR back in to monitor mode, there is a small Pushback Window that I am able to select to begin my pushback but in 2D monitor mode. What may I be doing wrong that I am unable to access any of the Pushback commands in VR? Your help is appreciated. Kay
  4. Same here. I have PSX generated parked aircraft but no arriving and departing traffic. Real Traffic window shows no active traffic and I am at EDDM!
  5. Heimi Thank you, I fixed it as you advised (^^) I did have my other devices deactivate the brakes but my mouse had a brake button assigned. I turned that off and all is well.
  6. Hi all Starting dome free flights after initially completing the basic maneuvers in UK with the Cub. Unfortunately, I have not been able to properly assign my brakes to the left/right toe brakes. I have tried this in the settings, choosing MFG Crosswind device. Key/axis assignment, I have my left toe brake assigned to my let toe brake axis, like wise for my right side. The problem is that my brakes won't release when I step off of them on my rude pedals. I've tried this both invert active and inactive, same result. I have been flying with FSX and still fly with P3D, having had no problem setting my rudders there. I'd appreciate any advice,
  7. Bob, Vic, Thank you for your advices. I am still trying various combinations of sliders and frame rate locks as you two recommended. I am seeing some success but yet to the point of identifying the best combinations. I can lock the frame rate at 30 during cruise but at large add on airports such as Frankfurt I am unable to maintain 30, more in the ranges of 25-ish. Does locking the frame rate at intermediate number between 30 and 20, such as 25 still be okay?
  8. Hi folks. My problem is that when at an airport (taxing, takeoff or approach to land), my flight is not smooth, smooth-stuck(slow down)-smooth-stuck(slow down) cycle. Don't know if this is what all of you call stuttering, but definitely not smooth. This is not only when banking and looking out of the cockpit 45 degrees, but duing taxing too. Very evident when accelerating down the runway during takeoff. This is at add-on Frankfurt, Berlin, etc. so I understand that any large add-on airports can stress any system plus a PMDG NGX using TrackIR and ASN. Framerate (displayed on top left corner of my screen) shows anywhere between 20 - 35 but this phenomena occurs. To test, I changed NGX to default Bonanza A36, at Frankfurt, no TrackIR, no ASN. Smooth-slow-smooth-slow cycle occurs, almost as bad as it does with NGX. Framerate, however, is in 30 -55 range. I then took the default A36 to a default airport in the US, no ASN, no TrackIR. Although not as obvious stutter as in Frankfurt there is some sttutering, certainly not how the framerate 45-70 range should perform. (Of note, all of the above occured after I deleted the Shader folder to let P3D rebuild it.) Please, anyone, shed some light as to what I need to do to get rid of this stuttering and back to smooth (as can be) flying. 9. Jim, I can't thank you enough for taking the time and providing your POV, very much appreciated. Although I am not as experienced as many of the simmers are here, I have come to learn to turn off the virus softwares when installing add-ons and such. UAC is always off. I thank many people on this and other forum for providing me with these tips so I know better. I will try System File Checker program or BSOD viewer as you suggest. I may also reinstall (uninstall prior) v3.23 Client and Content files, thinking that these did not install properly a few days back. (Maybe my vehicle choice issue can be resolved via this; if the issue persists I will turn to P3D forum specifically for this error) Kay
  10. Jim, Thank you for your response. Yes to all of your questions. And I have a new problem, may not be related to my original Kernal error. 1. I updated my P3D from v3.0 to v3.23, only partially (client and content). 2. I had only updated the client and found GSX not showing up. Subsequent search said that I need to update the Content as well for GSX to properly show. I upgraded the Content following this advice. 3. Launched v3.23 and all was well. At times, my P3D would CTD before the loading bar starts. I would reboot and try again, was able to complete PMDG NGX flight from add-on airport to another add-on airport without issue, but subsequent relaunch resulted in the CTD again. 4. Checked the error log, found some dll error (bgl- something) and searching your forum here lead me that I need to update FSDT manager. That I did and seemed to have cleared this issue. 5. Launch P3D, Raptor at default airport. Then used pull down menu to select another plane, namely Real Air Duke (add-on). The cockpit of the Duke showed only a second-ish then PC turned itself off. Error log showed Kernal-Power 41 again. 6. I decided to go ahead and do a Windows update. (I only have critical updates and don't run optional updates). Reboot my PC. 7. Launch P3D and select the default Raptor at default airport. No problem. Now a new problem. When I select another plane either from the pull down menu or in the first setting screen, the vehicle choices remain blank, stuck at selecting vehicles). Since I am unable to select another plane other than the Raptor, I can not verify if the Kernal error will reoccur. Hmm... Kay
  11. Yashigashi, Thank you for your reply. I was running P3Dv3.0 without any of this ever happning, only after I updated to v3.23 last night. I am using the same add-ons with v3.23 as I was with v3.0. Given this, I am not sure if Power source is the culprit. Could it be something else? BTW, some website recommended that I check my RAM with Windows Memory Diagnostic and the result was OK without any problems. Kay
  12. Hi I just did a partial upgrade from v3.0 to v3.2 (P3D) last night by uninstalling and installing the client and content of P3D. Launching P3D (v3.23) takes me to the flight set up screen (choose vehicle, location, weather, etc.) and I select the default Raptor at default airport. No problem. (EzDok starts as well, ASN no problem). I then select another vehicle from the pull down menu, and for a second the plance loads (I can see the VC loading) then boom! My PC shuts down. No rebooting. I checked the error log and it is telling me "Kernal-Power 41". I have no idea what this error is, but more importantly, what shall I do? Appreciate your advice. Kay
  13. Hi all, I am using P3D version 3. At my add-on airports, specifically FSDreamteam LSZH, Aeroosoft EGLL, and UK2000 EGJJ, I get double runway edge lights. What is apparently the lights from the add-on are there, but just next to it there is another set of lights that looks like lights from default scenery. I don't have double taxiway lights though. Can someone please shed a light to my problem (no pun intended)? And any steps to correct my double runway lights is appreciated. Kay
  14. Jim, Thank you for your help, really appreciate this. I have now disabled Nvidia HD sound as you recommended. My sound drivers appear updated. One peculiarity I am experiencing. I only have this CTD problem at low altitudes around Aerosoft Rome airport. I own other add-on paywares by FSDreamteam as well as Aerosoft's London Heathrow and I have no problems there. Only at Rome. Even at Rome, if I climb above to higher altitudes like 10,000feet-ish, then the problem doesn't happen. Descending to approach or initial climb after takeoff, at lower altitudes, I get this periodical break in my sound for a half-second or so, happens several times before my P3D finally decides to shut down. Given the above, I am starting to think that the problem is related to Rome add-on. I uninstalled Rome add-on and reinstalled it today just to see if reinstalling will solve it but no, it did CTD again after the reinstall. Any ideas? BTW, I have not made any comments at Aerosoft forums yet.
  15. Hi all. I just installed P3Dv3 a few days ago and started to fly. Things are okay in general except I got my first CTD today and maybe someone here can help avoid the same CTD. Aircraft: PMDG NGX Airport: Aerosoft Rome Weather: ActiveSky NEXT As I was approaching the airport, I started to get periodical break in the sound maybe every minute or two. FS stutters with the break in sound (only a second or even less). After 5 or so minutes of this, my P3D CTD with a warning window. (Not BSOD). After checking the error log, it said that the it shut down Prepare3d.exe with the fault of sound.dll. Any idea as to how to fix this? BTW, I have not had the sound break at my other airports (FlyTampa LOWW and FSDream LSZH).
