I think that would be OK, as I can wait for the texture to load :D. At 30000 feet the isn't going to be to much texture except for a couple of clouds here and there. Also, that 10 Percent isn't going to be that bad, is it? Assuming you would get 30 or 40 with the i5, you would have 27 or 36 with the Haswell.
Well, I guess you could still get a Clarkdale, but I already have a Mainboard for Haswell, LGA 1150, not for LGA 1156. How many FPS would you think I'd get if I'd have the Pentium, a 760, ActiveSky Next running and Rex4 Texture Direct?

recently the new Pentium has been released. It allows for overclocking as high as 4.7 Ghz. The Pentium has a higher Single Core Performance than the i7 4770K, and FSX doesn't really support multiple cores, as Affinity Mask doesn't really take that much advantage of it. Would the Pentium when it is overclocked be a good alternative for the 4770K?
