I'm trying to figure out how to make the flight sim experience I want.
Basically, I want an ATC that will assign me a SID on clearance and a STAR on arrival. Maybe I include them in the flight plan, but I want to use real weather so want the ATC to give me an appropriate STAR for example if there's wind concerns.
I usually fly small prop aircraft and will often fly out of airstrips without a tower. So I'd expect to be able to radio an airport and request an IFR approach etc.
I'd like the ATC to vector me when I request, either with my filed flight plan (in case I get lost), or because the tower is managing air traffic.
I'd like to hear the ATC even if it's a terrible-sounding voice. And I'd like it to be incorporated in the flight sim UI. I assume Pilot2ATC does this?
Does Pilot2ATC add appropriate AI flights and chatter?
I'm trying to create a little flight world so I can pretend to be a pilot. I prefer Pilot2ATC because of its one-off cost.
