Hi everyone,
I'm an intermediate flight simmer and former radio presenter. I used to have a home studio with 9 x 19'' monitors which I now have spare. All my other kit I've sold and would love to build a home cockpit in it's place.
I have two computers (one is a bog standard PC running W7 dual core with 4GB RAM) and another that is a more powerful to run FSX with 8GB RAM again with W7. Both machines have NVIDIA dual output graphic cards.
I hope to have 6 monitors for scenery, yes 6! 1 for altimeter and radar, 1 for FMC and Radio and 1 for engine instruments. How am I best to achieve this, if at all?
I guess I would need to network the two systems? I usually fly the PMDG 737-800 NGX aircraft which is want my cockpit to reflect.
I've tried doing Google searches and looking for videos on YouTube but a lot of people only have up to 6 monitors running in their home cockpits.
Finally, I'm looking at purchasing a yoke, rudder, throttle controls and autopilot add ons.
Thanks for your time,
Gareth
