Microstutters, a common problem in p3d but are there any in V4. I liked to hear what you seen so far. I'am tired of microstutters and hate it. So hope they fixed it

I looking for a helicopter for p3d that is good modelled as a pmdg plane. Any ideas?
What do you recommend?

I have same problem (crash p3d when start PMDG 777&737)(airbus a321 Aerosoft runing well)
Albin how you resolved this problem
please help me
Don't really remember but you can try this.
1. Uninstall all pmdg stuff.
2. Intall it agian with latest verisions.
3. Install simconnect that can be find in p3d root folder-redist-interface or something like that. Now you see diffrent folders. Install the msi file in folders ESPv1, FSX-RTM , FSX-SP1 and FSX-SP2-xpack.
4. Now you schould have the correct simconnect installed and the 737/777 planes.
Start P3D and see.
Hope it work

If I understand right does the CPU take care of terrain and GPU the rest of it. So how can i get the GPU work more?
My GPU gtx 1060 is more powerful and the cpu is little too weak in dense areas.
-
You shouldn't have any bottleneck with that CPU, it's the P3D that can't handle hardware well. One test for CPU bottleneck, try intense titles like Battlefield 1, The Witcher and GTA 5 (CPU intense) if you see your CPU with Afterburner working around 80% than you may have bottleneck, but I doubt that.
Okay, then I maybe don't have a CPU bottleneck. But can I get little more load on the GPU or can I just deal with it.
-
For 2 days ago I upgraded my system with a new MSI gtx 1060 6gb gaming X from my older, slower and above all too little Vram. Gtx 750. So now I have more Vram and that will make P3d happy but I didn't get a very big peformece boost. In dense areas at evening and clouds I can get down to 15-18 fps. Is my CPU, I5 4460 bottlenecks? Would not be so strenge. If it bottlenecking how can I get more load on the gpu because it's quite powerful and now the GPU usage is only around 40-60%. And the cpu works the heck out of it.

studuying in school. But I want to be a pilot
-
I have a 2gb GPU now in p3d v3.3 on medium to high swttings and it works okey. But on some airpotrs p3d uses all vram and I have a peformence drop. So think I will upgrade the graphic card one day. But what should I buy. How much Vram. Will the gtx 1060 3gb be enough. Or should I go for gtx 1050 ti 4gb when it releases. How much do you have and how is that working.
-
Does ai traffic have a impact on the Vram. And traffic on vatsim

just another way of ooming, that is all
So whitescreen is an oom
-
I get NO oom. I have around 1,3-1,4 gb vas remaining. But after 10-30 minutes I get a whitescreen. Yes a blank White screen. And I have to restart The computer by pressning The power Button or cut The power.
Addons I use is pmdg 777/737
Orbx ftx global/vector/EU landclass
Reshade and realism shaders

I was serious. ( and thank you for rude reply )That fixed my screen going different colors. If that does not fix yours, you may have a hardware issue.
I am guessing that with g effects turned on, it simulates a pilot passing out when g effects exceed human tolerance.
If you don't like my answer, which I guess you don't, go to the CTD forum here at Avsim for further assistance.
Thank you then. I can try.

I have bluecreen i a flight with 737 or 777 from pmdg. And another time I got a blackscreen and whitescreen. It's not bad overclockinng that cuase the issue. On defualt speed, no differance.
-
Try turning off G-Effects in realism settings. I had a red screen with that turned on
Ha ha. not really fun. Do you have a serious solution

After 10-30 minutes in a flight With The 777 or 737 from pmdg I get a blackscreen, first time. And another time I got a bluecreen. And today I got a whitescreen. I have downclocked my gpu to deafualt speed. NO difference. I have reinstalled drivers. NO difference. Can temp limit cuase my problem. But my gpu reaches max 70-80c.

Yes. Default (when you have no entry in the cfg) is 0.33. The lower the number, the less time is spend on loading textures and hence the more blurries you can get. This lower setting is often used to gain performance but it comes at a cost. Funnily enough some people even add this entry and this number thinking it will prevent blurries... To prevent blurries you should enter a higher number but usually this introduces stutters. The best thing imho is to remove the entry altogether. In fact, do not add any performance tweaks to the cfg's at all!
Thank you for help
-
Can fiber time fraction cuase blurry textures. Now I have FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=0.01
-
Thanks all of you. I think IF I take away some of The tweaks it might help but i want fps so I get a good flying experience. And my sim looks okay
Could be my graphics card that needs to be upgraded to run blurry free texures att higher settings
Well, imho some blurriness is part of the P3D/FSX world... The causes may be different (an many and very system dependant) but it's not very odd or weird to get some blurry textures every now and then. My advice: get used to it or at least don't pay too much attention to it. If you don't actually focus on it and stay busy keeping your plane in the air and going the right direction, it won't be a big problem. But that's my view on it.
Yes, you're quite right

I get blurry textures sometimes a little and sometimes a short distance it is really blurred. What can cause blurry ground textures?I have the best affinity mask for my CPU and my Vram not overload. When I see blurry my Vram max 1.8GB 2GB. I have defraged my hard drive but no difference.

Okay Thanks. I have i5 4460 cpu. So I may turn Down The settings a bit

Good day. I have a Asus gtx 750 with 2 GB Vram. And I running p3d v3.3 and that requires, (or recommended) 4GB. I have quite good peformence but on final and after landing I can get 15-23 fps, dropped from almost stable 30fps.
And Vram was almost 2000 mb usage so I think that cause the problem. How can I reduse Vram usage. Under the flight I get between 1500-1800 mb Vram usage and stable 28-30fps.

What Vsync schould I have. Vsync ON or off in p3d. Vsync in nvidia inspector? Nvidia controlpanel. For best smoothness
-
I have Vsync ON in p3d and in nvidia controlpanel I have it set to half refresh rate. Fps set to 32. Now I get Micro stutters only sometimes.
Where can I find release notes for updates?

As the title says. I liked to see what's new in various updates and can't find it. For orbx products
