  1. My problem is a problem which a cursory search has been occurring in XP versions and now this. This plane does not want to follow the nav mode and repeatedly goes off veering right. One time, after veering I did a DIR on the FMS and it did follow the NAV/Profile. Mostly it doesn't. Like today I did a flight from BGSF to ENVA and it refused to follow the FD and Nav mode despite my repeated attempts. I had to HDG it the entire way.

The other problem I was having was horrible stutters. This I cured by not using FSR in my flights with this plane.

SOLVED: This was solved by settings---->Rudder Controls Tiller---->No. Use rudder controls tiller on the ground but lining up down the runway ready for takeoff turn it to 'no'.

    Thank you,

The EFB does look magnificent, in line with the rest of the aircraft really. How does it run on your system? It is not too dissimilar to mine right now. I lock my fps @30 in NVCP & VSYNC on and I get that pretty much everywhere in the FBW A320

My system now is, rebuilt by me: Ryzen 7 5800x, 32gb, 3070ti 8gb. No issue with frames.

    OK Million Dollar question lol

Which do you prefer the Fenix A320 or PMDG 737? I am sitting on the fence, I love the FBW A320 (It is my go to airliner) and really love the look and complexity of the Fenix A320 but I miss a 737. I will probably end up with both I just cannot decide which will make it into my hanger first.

I'm going to give the edge to Fenix here and that's because of that magnificent EFB in combination with the FMS.

  4. Flew it after the update. This Airbus is magnificent. I've flown FSLabs ( and asked for the refund after the 'scandal'), Aerosofts Airbus series, under FSX and P3D. This plane is the capstone. It is a pleasure with the EFB and FMS, graphics, performance and I have been flying this exclusively even though I had just bought PMDG's 737 700! Lol. The app implementing the liveries is great. Just an all around pleasure.

  5. Realism. More of it not less. Since I started with Bruce Artwix's version years ago I have seen these postings decrying " realism" in favour of better flight model etc. For these people it was always an all or nothing proposition. Then it was the issue of more realism to the pyramid mountains or stick trees. No they cried!

It's old. Get over it. Please more realism. Bring those airports alive. Immersiveness is what it is all about with games, simulations etc. Bring it on!

  6. I wonder if MS is thinking of reviving its railsim franchise on the exact same platform as MSFS? This would be an extraordinary direction.  And integrate them where you could switch from flying your plane to a local rail line by train.

Not a bad buy for $20 bucks. Its a cool quirky plane. I wish some of the textures and modeling were better but thats only because we are spoiled in MSFS now but at $20 bucks its a fun diversion.

I know this is going to sound sacrilegious but I do wish we had the option for a single GPS of any kind. Whether it was a 530 or 430 or 750NXI just to be able to use it in certain spots. Kinda like the Goose did with the pop up panel holding it. No Autopilot though as Its a real joy to hand fly.

Not sacrilegious. Many older planes are retrofitted with modern avionics.

I love these responses, and IF we abided by these rules we would have FS1 for all time. I started with Sub Logic and, well... things have slightly improved since then. Why do we need ground / road lights? Why do we need clouds? Do we really have to have a 3d cockpit? I'll bet Thanks for your input!

Yep. Agree 100. I go back to Sublogic days as well. It's as if developers can only do one thing at a time. The whole series has a long history of folks who always thought that the flight dynamics was the only thing to be worked on and any improvement on those vector graphics was a waste of valuable time and resources. Lol.

Not mine.  Sorry if I am not understanding this conversation at all.  I see you are relatively new.  Do you have anything to add to the wishlist or not? Or are you just trying to shoot it down for some reason?  It is true I may have misunderstood a genuine attempt at humour!

I like to be able to micro-manage this sim. To me that adds to its complexity of depth. You can nuance it to your heart's content.  So big kudos to Asobo team in providing the ability to nuance it and your seeking the same ability as a simmer.

Where did that come from?  Seems a bit harsh.  Did I miss anything?  Is this in the wrong thread?

The G36 mod has stood up well to the updates, and still has no problem now.

The Asobo update that did break the G36 initially disturbed a lot of the aircraft (autopilot turn rates etc.) before it was rectified by Asobo.

It's a response to a poster or two who was complaining about  updates breaking mods.

  11. Seriously some of you guys. You can't have it both ways. You want improvements to MSFS and then complain when updates are done that it breaks certain add-ons. It's the risk assumed when you do this. You act as if this is something new in the flight sim world. While appreciative of any add-on I would suggest that assuming the risk will eventually bring the reward assuming the developer is here for the long haul. If not, them let someone else do it and when until the platform settles down.

  12. Well you've tolerated a mediocre ATC in FSX, the numerous incarnations of P3D, and worst of all X-Plane.  What makes you think things would change? Particularly since most people have, over the last many years, gravitated to 3rd party solutions. Nowhere did I see ASOBO or MS or anyone else promise the ATC would be anything but a general port from FSX.

For my own purposes I find it adequate but over the course of all three versions noted above I've purchased 3rd party solutions. Everything from P2ATC to PF3 to public domain and payware solutions for X-Plane.

Get over it because it is what it is.

    Defensive much?

OP wants a 787, he can get high quality one now from Quality Wings for P3D V5.x, fully function and doesn't typically go inverted and most systems actually work.

But please do tell me when QW will bring their 787 into MSFS?  I haven't heard any announcement for delivery date from QW ... Q4 2021, 2022, 2023?

My post was about providing a solution for the OP, not about reading a crystal ball nor artificially limiting oneself to a platform "just because".

    Cheers, Rob.

Does the P3D sim have a default 787? It took a while before QW had it ready for P3D I think v4 it was finally released? Yeah I wouldn't be too chippy.
