  1. Thanks for the response guys. I have been adding 5-10kts since I started flying the PMDG 777 but it still has trouble holding its speed. Not sure if it could be hardware issue or how the aircraft is developed or weather? I will be doing short fights just to test out all the possible fixes that I can come up with and let you guys know the results.
  2. Well it did pitch up cause the MCP was not holding my speed on final. I was close to stalling too so as I was losing speed, the aircraft started pitching up. Happens to most of my flights as I have said before. I'm saying why does my MCP not hold my speed selected? Wondering what could possibly be the problem? I have it set to NEVER but it still occurs.
  3. Hi everyone! So i've noticed a problem I have been having recently. When I am on final doing an ILS approach, and on final/short final, my autothrottle is not holding my selected speed. The speed decreases and the aircraft has to compensate by pitching it's nose up. I have the speed selected in the MCP and also the A/T button clicked (green light illuminating). Curious to know what could be causing this problem? It happens almost on all my flights. My A/T Manual Override in the FMC is set to NEVER. As it dereases speed, the PFD reads SPD at the top right. Thanks, Bryan Cheung
  4. Hello everyone, I've had this problem and it is most defenitly the product. I found a walkaround that works. Do you have FSUIPC purchased? If yes, try restarting your simulator and loading back your flight at your last saved point. I have tried this and the huge fuel usage has stopped. I've tried this walkaround at least 3 times already and its been working for me.Feel free to try this and let me know if it worked for you! Cheers, Bryan Cheung
  5. Hi all, Great news from me. I experienced the problem today again and I deicded to experiment a little. I waited to see if the fuel would decreasea large amount in 30 minutes and it did (as expected). Since I have FSUIPC's autosave enabled, I decided to restart my simulator and load the flight back up to my last saved location. The fuel was stable after the restart. The fuel burn wasn't huge anymore. As of right now, the predicted fuel at destination has been the same value for about an hour now. Overall, I have concluded that it has something to do with simulation error. The next time you guys experience this and have autosave enabled, try this method. Thanks, Bryan Cheung
  6. Hi all, I'm having trouble connecting ASN with PFPX. It gives me a white stop hand when I try and load it. Any solutions? The first link is the actual problem im having and the second one is my options leading to the path of ASN. http://gyazo.com/f0b734c4bb302e90754e4f0118441b82 http://gyazo.com/35bfa9f8dd422acb13632f16400dae5d Thanks, Bryan Cheung
  7. Yeah my bad, it was a typo. I get my weather from ASN. I came to a final decision and concluded that it was the headwind that was causing really heavy fuel use. I use P3D. I do not get any freezes during cruise. I concluded that it was the headwind that was causing heavy fuel use. Yeah everything is fine now. I think it was the headwind that was causing heavy fuel use. I'm currently making a hop from CYYZ --> VHHH with 272,420lbs of fuel and so far, its been stable. I'm halfway there too
  8. So the problem is most likely headwind? I understand that you require more fuel into a headwind. I thought it was just a bug or something with the controls because it is my first time using the PMDG777 and I've had no problems with the PMDG737 in the past year.
  9. In that case, Yes, I have flight level winds loaded. The fuel quantity still keeps dropping
  10. This is the LEGS > RTE DATA page. http://gyazo.com/a121dada615f45ddffd69a17241a9256
  11. So this is my first flight with the PMDG777. I'm going from KJFK --> CYVR and inputed 11040lbs of fuel before takeoff. While i'm in cruise, I monitor the PROG page to see how much fuel I will have left at my destination and it keeps dropping. It dropped from 64 to 5 in a time frame of 2 hours~. I've asked many VATSIM users that fly the PMDG777 and they can't seem to figure it out. I dont suspect any fuel leak/dump because it doesn't give me any warnings. Has anyone had the same problem or knows the fix to this? Thanks, Bryan Cheung
