  1. I notice that default trees are still too big in MSFS2020. They are often way too much in both length and how much they stretch out over roads and buildings. On my favorite airfields the trees on short final are way to massive compared to the real thing. But there is an easy way to fix that: 1. Locate the file 10_asobo_species.XML . It will reside in your fs-base/vegetation folder. 2. Make a backup copy of the original file in case you need to roll-back your changes. 3. Edit 10_asobo_species.XML in notepad (or your non-intrusive text editor of choice) 4. You will find a list of all vegetation species and their characteristics. Change the entries of the SIZE parameter. I changed both the MIN and MAX value of all entries to around 65-80% of the original size. A value of 15 would be 10, a value of 10 would be 7, and so forth. 5. Restart sim. This did the trick where trees no longer hide so many country roads and creeks that I rely on irl while on VFR, where trees no longer dominate buildings in a strange way and, most important, makes for a much more plausible obstacle size for landings and take offs. I had no problem implementing this and found no other adverse impacts. Hope this helps! Cheers / Sven
