  1. Yeah it was weird, I've never had anything like it before but I deleted the FSX.cfg and let it create a new one and it seemed to do the trick.. Thanks for taking the time to reply btw Cameron.
  2. Actually just got sound back, simple FSX.cfg delete and let FSX write a new one, I'm going to try each addon and see if the sound plays up again but so far so good..
  3. Hi everyone I was hoping you could help me solve a weird problem that my FSX has developed.. The weird problem that i'm talking about is that I can no longer hear any engine sound in any aircraft other than the FSLabs Concorde As far as I can remember this problem only just appeared today.. I've been tracing my steps to remember if I've had any sound issues before and all I can think of is the fact that I downloaded the freeware Eurocopter AS332L2. I loaded this helicopter and did the usual routine of allowing certain software to run as a trusted programme. This is the last time I heard engine noise. I thought it would make sense therefore to remove this particular addon completely by deleting all files that came with it. I then found the FSX.cfg and removed the "trusted programmes" that came with the Eurocopter. Alas I restarted FSX and there was still no engine sound in any freeware, payware or default aircraft. I've done several restarts of the computer and still nothing. I should make clear that I can hear all other sounds in FSX apart from engine sound. AP disconnect, landing gear noises, touchdown and rain etc. are all fine, only engine noise. I just find it odd that FSLabs Concorde works fine though? :/ I can't be sure that it's not something caused by Concorde since I did do a flight in it earlier just before the issues started but I think it's unlikely since its never caused any issue in the past.. I'd really appreciate any pointers to help fix this issue, has anyone experienced anything similar? thanks, Cameron.
  4. Thanks for the replies  FSX now works in window mode so thanks for the tip. While I'm here I don't suppose anyone knows how to solve the issue of a vibrating aircraft on the ground do they?.. Its a big problem with my First Class Sim Lancaster. You're sitting there with no engines on but with parking brake on and you become aware that the scenery outside seems to be moving. Turn the PB off and the aircraft starts to turn left on the spot by itself. I've noticed Dino Cattaneo's most recent F-35 does the same? I have the service pack of the Lanc installed but the problem wont go away. Can I sort this? Thanks
  5. Hi, as a new member my five days are up and now I can post  I've recently downloaded windows 10 and I'm experiencing some issues with running FSX. Whenever I load FSX now where the plane preview window should be on free flight there's just a back screen and I when I load the flight the load screen comes up with the loading bar appearing but also with a now visible graphic of my chosen aircraft placed in the top left of the screen. The load bar disappears but the plane is still there I haven't been able to fly FSX since.. I've deleted the FSX.cfg and let a new one write itself upon loading FSX but the problem remains, are there any thoughts or solutions to this? Another problem I'm having is with my throttle, I have a blackwidow joystick and recently any movement of the joystick throttle results in the throttle within the VC jumping wildly from full power to idle, sometimes I cant even idle the throttles and get reverse thrust because the engines stay at 4-6% power. I've recalibrated the joystick countless times but to no avail.. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks TheCameronPerson
