  1. Thanks for all your comments guys! I ended up getting v5 and just finished my first flight BOS-SDF. It definitely has its issues and I had a few CTDs trying to get everything set up but all in all I'm floored. It's extremely smooth and there aren't even words to describe how much of a step up from FSX it is hahaha. 10/10 recommend!!
  2. Hey guys, Hope everyone is safe and healthy! As the title suggests, I'm finally moving from FSX with a new computer build (2006-2020 it was a good run lol). I was wondering if you guys would suggest starting off with V4.5 and waiting for the v5 HF2 or just go straight to v5? I kind of don't want to have to buy P3D twice but if v5 is that unstable then it might make sense. If it helps, my settings are RTX2070S, Ryzen 5 3600, and 2x 8GB DDR4 3200Mhz. Any thoughts would be super helpful!
  3. Thanks guys! I made a few changes and I think I'm ready to buy! Would any of you have a viable substitute for the B450-A-PRO MAX? It's out of stock currently. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Pw4Q9G Update- Am thinking of the B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC for the motherboard.
  4. Hey guys, I'm looking to build a new PC for P3D - am about to graduate college and have nothing to do for the summer so I feel like this is as good a time as any. I wanted to know you guys' thoughts on this build - https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Dv69p8. I'm trying to keep costs in the $1000-$1200 range. I'm hoping to run P3D V5 well (and MSFS 2020 in the future) with addons and decent but not super crazy performance. What do you guys think? Any help is appreciated!
