  1. Hello. I’m not sure if this is a bug or I’m breaking standard operating procedure, but I’ve noticed that when making a Config 3 takeoff, the FO will not retract to Flaps 2 during the climb. Asking for Flaps 1 or Flaps 0 both work but he won’t respond to a Flaps 2 voice command.

    Can you advise? Thanks!

  2. On a related note, would it be possible for UGCX to read GSX pushback profiles? I appreciate they’re a competitor but the flight sim community has already created hundreds of accurate pushback paths for GSX so if UGCX could read these, it would be incredibly efficient in enabling lots of real world pushback paths. That’s one of the few factors that sometimes puts me off UGCX ... if I know the airport has an existing, accurate pushback path in GSX whereas I’d have to recreate that myself for UGCX. Cheers.

  3. Hi. When creating custom routes at airports that have many similar, parallel pushback locations, is there a way to do multiple routes at one time? A lot of airports have parallel parking bays / gates that require identical (parallel) pushback routes ... it would be great if these could be done as a group rather than having to do each bay / gate individually.

  4. Hello

I’m really enjoying using voice control for pushback through UGCX. Thank you for all the work put in. 🙂

In my travels I’ve noticed that an increasing number of airports are using towbarless tractors. These offer a number of advantages compared to conventional tugs, some of which are explained here:

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pushback#Tractors_and_towbars

This is one type for example:

    https://kalmarmotor.com/en/gallery/gallery-3-en/

I wondered if you are considering offering towbarless tractors in UGCX?

  5. Hi. Thank you for your work on this. 👍

    Two questions:

    1. I did a packs off takeoff (and set packs off in the departure brief) but the PM did not turn the packs odd during the lineup as per the flow. Can you advise?

    2. In other versions of FS2Crew you can ask the PM to set the squawk code. He seems to understand the command (green bar) but takes no action. Can this be implemented?

    Thank you.

I´m quite new to MCE on X Plane. Just bought it last friday. I´m running the latest version of X Plane 11, MCE and Zibo´s 737.

I start cold and dark. While my copilot performs the flow "electrical power up with ground power up", the Zibo 737 behaves like a crash. X Plane then asks me if I want to continue the flight or start a new flight.

If I do the flow on my own I can continue with all other following flows performed by the copilot.

I haven´t made any changes on the scripts.

I don´t know if it is an issue on Zibo´s or MCE´s side. Thats why I post it here.

    Thanks in advance

I can confirm this exact same issue with MCE and the Zibo mod 737.

It only happens with the “electrical power up with ground power” flow. The “electrical power up with GPU” flow works okay.

I have tried this several times with the default flow and it always happens. Normally when the ground crew is inserting chocks as part of connecting the ground power. Hoping someone can solve this problem.

Just bought the QW787 for P3D.

just wondering if anyone has been able to create any flows and are willing to share.

From a real ops or virtual airline perspective, I have the default flows that came with MCE. Similar to David's NGX flows

    Thanks so much.

I’m looking for this too. The default flows seem to have the pilot monitoring / first officer doing almost all the cockpit preparation. I would have thought there’d be a little bit more for the pilot flying to do, at least with some airlines. I’ve searched for real life flows to be able to base it on, but haven’t had much luck. Hopefully someone might know a source.

I appreciate the pilot monitoring can’t control the checklists at the moment, but that’s easy enough to handle.

Sorry, forgot to tell you to run the wizard. It's the latter that copies flows to \My Documents\ folder.

    Could be a bad dll.

Go to \Prepar3D v4\MCE dlls\ folder and check you have "mcqw787.dll" file there.

I assume you didn't manually copy the file over.

For now, rename the file to something like "no-mcqw787.dll" so that P3D doesn't load it.

Will get back to you ASAP.

Hi. Ah yes - forgot to run the App Wizard - done now.

Yes, the mcqw787.dll was in the P3Dv4 MCE dll folder. I disabled it as suggested and now the QW787 works as normal with all screens / MCP displaying normally after loading MCE. The copilot can still look after basic controls (as previously) but not the complex overhead buttons, presumably because that's what the dll facilitates. Cheers.

A new MCE version was uploaded yesterday.

FO should be able to handle pretty much anything, including ECL in FSX. Should work in P3D V4 as well, except maybe for ECL handling.

See this thread on QW forum (must be registered)

Just update to latest MCE V2.7.6.2 and report whatever is missing.

Hi. So I installed the new version. One thing I noticed is that during installation the QW787 aircraft co-pilot flows were installed in my MCE installation folders, but not in the My Documents MCE folders, so I had to copy them over.

I'm also getting a very strange bug - after starting MCE the MCP, CDU and standby altimeter panels all go blank (I tried this in both the 787-8 and 787-9, with the identical effect). The CDU still seems to work, as if I open it as a pop-up, you can see the information that should be displayed and program it, but for some reason all these screens go blank after MCE loads and nothing I try gets them to switch on / display. I've not seen this before with MCE. Hoping you can shed some light.

Any MCE user has the aircraft for P3D V4 already?

Yes, I just bought it. I have only just made my first flight with the 787 - so still need to learn the aircraft. I did a really quick test with MCE and the co-pilot to see what would happen, and the co-pilot is able to control some basic functionality. This includes setting flaps, altitude, the transponder frequency, taxi light, beacon. Presumably any controls that are set up in a standard way.  But of course he can't do things that must be more customised by Quality Wings (eg seatbelt signs, autobrake settings, landing lights etc).

flap bindings in the sim are deleted and those controllers are disabled. I'm using FSUIPC and I removed flap bindings there as well.

Hi. I've got the exact same problem. I am also using FSUIPC and have deleted flap bindings. The voice control is detecting my flap commands (shown in green), but the copilot won't set the flaps or retract them after takeoff.

It's strange, as when I first installed FS2Crew for the Maddog the flap commands worked, but not now. I can't figure out why.

Will check and fix for V1.3.

In Reboot, you should be able to press the overhead FA call button, which is different from the old version, but we'll check it.

It works up to a point ... the flight attendant asks what you want, and once you advise, he / she says they'll be up soon. But there's no subsequent knock at the door and presentation of whatever it was you ordered, unlike other versions of FS2Crew.

  13. There’s definitely an export option for the Leonardo Maddog but it would be designed for the previous FSX version. However, as long as you select the right Maddog route folder (within My Documents), the you can import it as a company route. I haven’t played with it enough yet to confirm if all the waypoints are imported correctly. Generally the file name is ICAOICAO01

The other way to do it is to export the route as a normal FSX / P3D flightplan file, import the route using the Maddog load manager, and then save it as a Maddog compatible flight plan into the Maddog route folder. Hope this helps.

Cabin Announcements are 100 percent there.

Unlike the old FS2Crew Maddog, we integrated their control directly into the aircraft to make it more real.

Twist the the PA knob on the Capt's audio panel to turn the volume up for the Cabin PAs.

Spin the mouse wheel to twist the PA knob

    Awesome. Thanks!

    You're welcome :-)

This is a voice control product.  Briefings are really only for Button Control.

In Voice Control, since you are the one talking, you would speak the brief.

Hi Bryan. Many thanks for your hard work on this product. I'm very much enjoying learning to fly the Maddog X with the support of my first officer.

I take your point on the briefings being for button control, but I do miss (from most of your other products) being able to select the different options in the before takeoff and before landing briefings, such as the type of approach, decision height etc, and then listen to the pilot run through it. I can't remember all those things off hand to announce the briefing myself - so I wonder if there was a way to integrate the topics you should cover (as a reminder / suggested script) into the panel or if that's too complicated, into the manual or captain's flow and checklists? With your other products, even if I don't play the briefing, I can use the panel to help me work out what to say in the briefing.

The other thing I really miss are the flight attendant announcements, such as when the cabin crew does a safety briefing during engine start, as well as the prerecorded PA announcements (such as the welcome, turbulence warning, top of cruise, top of descent etc). Was there any particular reason these weren't included? Again, I appreciate with voice control you can make these yourself, but I find they add to the immersion (and I only use voice control, never the button control versions).

    Thank you.

Does the selection of speed, heading and altitude work

Does the selection of speed, heading and altitude work?

Also the switching of buttons? In my setup, the 2D panels pop up with v2747...

Provided you start a new flight on the ground with MCE (ie not a saved flight that’s underway) then yes, the copilot can select heading and altitude. Sometimes the heading is one degree off. However I haven’t been able to get MCE to control the speed (though the the copilot can push and pull the speed control knob).

Yes, 2D panels do pop up. I think that’s MCE’s workaround because unlike most other payware aircraft, there’s no SDK for the FSLabs A320. Under graphics you can set 2D panel transparency to 100% so you can’t see this. Hope this helps.
