  1. Thanks a lot Andy Crosby!! ' From start to finish you were there helping and offering suggestions. That meets my criteria for a great guy. Keep up the good work! This problem is now solved and I am thoroughly enjoying VOX ATC which is a great product! Please note though anyone whom is about to purchase this product the the developer is currently not offering support whatsoever. However if you can work through the problems it is a very rewarding experience. Thanks a lot everyone! Andrew Q
  2. Guys great news! I think I have found the problem. I don't know how to fix it though lol. I was messing around with the configuration file in the folder path C:Program FIles/Steam/Steamapps/common/FSX/Simobjects/Airplanes/C-172/panel.cfg While making changes and testing I noticed the changes were not taking in the aircraft in particular with view short cuts I made a copy of the panel.cfg file and while testing I thought hey lets try to delete it lol. As it should be a file in use you should not be able to delete the file. Oddly enough windows let me which was telling me this was not the file for the C-172 I did a windows search and found a different folder for the C-172 it was in this folder path. C:Programfiles/Steam/steamapps/common/FSX/DLC/379233/Simobects/Airplanes/panels/panel.cfg Although I did not pay for any DLC. It appears most of my aircraft library is in this folder (except the trike) The aircraft are also in the other folder. I would assume what is happening is that when FSX starts it searches for the first folder but if there is DLC it opts to use that folder/aircraft. I check the panel.cfg in the C-172 in the DLC folder and the VOXATC installed did not modify the panel.cfg This is where things got funky. I decided since the panel configuration should be the same I would just copy and paste the original .cfg (see spesimen poste above) into this one and save. It appears I have lost the majority of my dash and I still do not have VoX ATC...... lol its a setback.... at least were moving forward now. I guess what I need to know now is if anyone here knows how to program panel.cfg for DLC aircraft. I think if this happens; This will be case closed!!!!! YAY! I wont be able to poste until later tonight. (working late) Thanks again in advance, Andrew
  3. I have discovered that it is not being supported. I cant believe that VOXATC is selling this product on there official website and not offering any product updates or support. I just paid $100 CDN for this and Ive sent them multiple emails to help me out....(no response) I doubt highly if I ask for a refund there will an immediate establishment of communication. I really wanted to use this as a training aid. Hopefully someone has been through this before and can offer some insight. So discouraging....... Anyway thanks to all you AVSIM guys! You truly are very helpful friendly bunch. The world would be a better place if everyone was like you guys. Andrew
  4. Thanks again fro your continued assistance spesimen! I am now using your attached panel.cfg for the C-172 I restarted my computer and rechecked that the .cfg was still the same as the one you placed in message. In addition I right clicked the panel .cfg and set it to Full Control (read write etc.) I tested the C-172 Skyhawk. I still do not have the option of Vox ATC In the views> Instrument menu. The removed Mini Panel and the extra windows in 66 & 67 were my doing. I was trying to change the config as to match the Trike (which is the only unit that works with VOX ATC currently.) Your attached code is exactly the way it was before is was tampering with it. This very odd. As far as I can tell this should be working. Any other ideas guys? Thanks again fro your help. It means a lot to me. Andrew Q
  5. Thanks a lot specimen!!!! Turns out you are right. Just for troubleshooting purposes I tried to run VOX ATC in all my different default aircraft. I can get VoxATC to work from the TRIKE. Ive been trying to modify the panel.cfg file for the C-172 Skyhawk I cant seem to get it to work. I have attached the code to this message if someone would be kind enough to offer me some assistance and take a look at what this noob is doing wrong. Thanks a lot everyone!!!! 6. Hello All, I am looking for some assistance from all you super smart individuals. I am a new pilot in flight school and was hoping to use Voxatc as a training aid as I do have problems with ATC I recently downloaded Voxatc, paid to register the program and attempted to install the program. I have FSX-SE installed on my computer, Windows 8 and more than enough RAM and Processor to run this program. So here is what is happening. Symptom: The Vox ATC icon is not available in the Views>Instrument while running the VFR Kansas city to Somewhere in the C-172 (Vox ATC preloaded flight. Here is what I have done so far -Downloaded the demo from the manufacturer (most recent release) 2015??? -Installed the Demo as and administer -Installed the panel into all stock aircraft -Successfully ran the indexer -I have set all the executable files in the Vox folder to run as an administer (I heard this may be the issue) -Updated my Microsoft Net -Installed all three Sim Connects -Restarted my computer roughly 60 times between any modification -Removed and installed VOX ATC had to have been at least 60 times aswell - Contacted the developer about 6 times now but I never get a response??? -Performed the speech recognition I have spent about 15 hours trying the get this program running. If you guys had any insight or ideas it would be greatly appreciated. All Guru's welcome! Thanks in advance for your time! Andrew
