Assignments such as switch views on the red button is not assigned ANYWHERE. Neither in FSX (P3D), FSUIPC or kn the Mad Catz Configurator......

Ok, so I have a big problem with my Saitek Pro Flight Yoke system.. I just can't find a way to delete the DEFAULT driver assignments for the yoke and the TQ. For example, I want to use the big red button on the yoke as a push-to-talk, but the default assignments switches between views at the same time. I have tried to uninstall drivers, but without them, FS won't recognize the movements at all.. Any ideas? //Ivar

Hmm.. The same thing happens when using P3D default assignments instead of FSUIPC, and I seem to have configured the throttles correct in FSUIPC...

The Throttle axis works just fine, but there seems to be a bug or a confligt AFTER disarming the autothrottle (during landing). This happens with the PMDG 737, so it's obvisually a conflict between my hardware and the complect PMDG software. Throttle axis is only programmed in FSUIPC.

Doesnt work. How do I remove Saitek's own assignments?

So, I bought the Saitek Pro Flight TQ and it works just fine EXCEPT after I disengage the A/T. It starts to behave strangely like reversing in air and so on.. Anyone?

Jim, I have completely wiped my hard drives and re-installed Windows. d3d11.dll still causes CTD with Aerosoft Airbus...

Very helpful post, than you. P3D works FINE with any other aircraft.. However I have been flying the AS Busses for a long time without problems, so yes, it has to be something with windows/drivers and not with P3D or AS Airbus. I'll update. //Ivar

Jim, I do not have SweetFX installed, which is stated as the problem in the CTD guide. I neither have "Windows Update KB2670838" installed..

Only when using Aerosoft Airbus. Crashes on load, sometimes i get to the cockpit but the sim crashes soon after. That's what appears all the time. After solving one issue another comes by. I have tried with this one single flight 7 times now, and not a single one has gone longer than a pushback. A time ago, I had this problem P3D crashing without any signs or anything popping up, stating that P3D has crashed. The window would just close and there would be no crash report to look into at all. I did reinstall P3D several times, until it came to my mind that Prepar3D would ONLY crash that way if the window was not focued. After I told that to Jim Young he pointed out it was an incompatible addon and nothing else. So I installed P3D fresh again, without any addons or whatsoever. It did never crash, but as soon as I installed Aerosoft Airbus, it all started again.. So I uninstalled it, and installed nothing but PMDG 737. And after some flying, the same thing started to happen again, sometimes when I press something in the cockpit.. Bang, "Prepar3d.exe has stopped working". So all this "compability thing" that Jim stated suddenly started to drive with my mind. The simulator would crash with only PMDG 737 installed, and that's clearly a polite product made for Prepar3d v3, not v2 or FSX, not anything like that... To summarize it, I used to have lots of FSX and P3Dv2 addons installed on my P3Dv3, and I thought uninstalling them would be the solution to this problem. But it can't be.. I acually have one more issue specificly with the Aerosoft Airbus, a factor that makes my thoughts on my crashes tilt more on that it would be the Aerosoft Airbus causing problems.. When minimizing the window of P3D using the Aerosoft Airbus, it will simply freak out. The FPS will go from 0-3 and a shutdown of P3D via Task Manager is the only way round.. Lastly, I just want to state that I CAN fly a flight without problems, I've flown lots of them, and everyone run into CTD's from time to time. But I KNOW this is a problem related to software (installs, configs, registry etc..), not just random hardware issues. The only thing left to do might be a new machine, but that's not something I'm looking forward to pay for at all.. Greetings, //Ivar

Captain Sim 767 is nice, I own it, but what about Level-D 767 with Zinertek HD cockpit? Or is that FS9 only?

I'm frustated after searching around the whole day, so let's keep it short and simple.. I just installed the CLS 767 for the second time, and the problem I had before appeared again. The VC works perfectly fine, except that the windows is greyed out, they're not transparent AT ALL. I had this problem before, and found a solution, but I CANT find it anymore on the web! Please help!!

Haha, now I acually switched back to P3D, FSX was horrible, bad frames, and looking nothing else than ######. Upgraded to P3D v3.3, until now it feels very smooth and no crashes...

I did remove everything on the computer related to P3D.. I just felt done with Prepar, I'm "downgrading" myself to FSX again, atleast no crashes over there...

Had a COMPLETE reinstall of P3D.. P3D CTD's after 4 seconds..

I fixed the problem, It's not overheating anymore. Anyways, as I said later, the sim still crashes. I'm uninstalling P3D now, for a really fresh restart. Hope that will fix the problem..
