  1. Hi Aimee, Though it is not a "game changer", nor is it a "bug", but I was wonder why the Achievements look like they came off a console game. If you look at what FSX has. They had very nice colored graphics depicting Trophies, Plaques, Medals, Certificates (that were printable), postcards and other special awards. Flight Sim World has 2-color icons. I'm not asking for someone to change these now, but is there a chance that maybe you could find time to discuss getting a graphic artist to redesign your Awards? Thanks. PS: Just so you know, I created an entire binder to keep track of FSX Achievements and how to earn them. And just so I could create a nice shadow box to show my awards, I created my own military-style "Ribbon" design for each and every Award. I'd be happy to send you a picture of those pages, if you are interested.
  2. If you're the kid that keeps all the toys to yourself, don't be surprised when no one wants to play with you.
  3. I'm guessing the people at DTG have never read the story of "The Boy That Cried Wolf". Based on the lack of comments on Steam, regarding the latest news, most are now at a point that they no longer care and until something is shown, they will just continue to tune it out. Personally, I would not want to work on the PR team when (and if) this new sim gets finished to the point they want to start talking about it. I have no doubts, there will be many that will just tear it to shreds on little things that could have been dealt with along the way, if only DTG had said something earlier, but instead waited until it was to late to change it. It's sad to say, ALL of the real information that has been stated about this new sim, in the past 2 years, could be written on a gum wrapper, in a readable font size.
  4. My point is. Magazines are a great way to promote a title to a large group of people and to not start running ads or articles before the Christmas rush is a very bad idea. PC Pilot has already covered X-Plane 11. If they some how get something out this month or next, great for them but it means that they released information but did not want to share with those that are following DTG, before the release.
  5. If I am not mistaken, most large magazines (like PC Pilot, PC Gamer, etc...), need a 3 month lead time for articles. So, if DTG still has not come up with a name for this Soon-To-Be awesome Flight Sim, by now, I don't think we should even expect any magazine articles no sooner then February. If DTG has started talking with magazines and expect articles in December, that would mean they have a name and information but just choosing not to share any of that basic information with us. DTG really has the strangest idea of how to promote a new title before Christmas.
