that happened to me.
the solution do a complete uninstall for the airplane.
uninstall from "Programs"
Delete the folders have the PMDG 777 names:
from your AppData then roaming then Lockheed martin then SimObjects
Delete the folder PMDG 777 from AppData then Roaming then PMDG then Updates folder then delete the 777 folder
then run ccleaner to fix your registry
then reboot.
After that install the airplane which you downloaded it for V4 then install it.
After that run PMDG operation center and you will find a notification there's a new version.
Click install (it will download files via command prompt) .
