About Me

  • About Me
Retired law enforcement. Majored in music. One of my lifetime aspirations was to fly, just never did so. I have actually flown planes, just never quite had the money to follow through with it. Been a simmer since the early days (1995). Been a member of Lynx Airways virtual airline since 1998. Logged thousands of hours on everything from a piper cub all the way up to the A380. I got a good PC, she's powerful, CH products yoke and pedals, using FSX SE, with numerous add on, including the fantastic PMDG 737NGX and the 777-200, 777-300 and 777F.
  1. My win7 became unstable and I recently upgraded to win10. FSX SE not recognizing the Yoke and Pedals in the calibration settings. Controllers worked fin in win7. I did a complete reinstall of FSX and used the controller manager for the yoke and pedals. win10 does recognize the hardware and states they are working properly. Is there a solution to this?

    PMDG 777

Dan, My name is Scott Woods, yes I am fairly new to the PMDG but not new to simming (1995). I am aware of the QRH and believed that I was following the steps to reset the system. OK, time to go back and check the tutorial to see what I am overlooking. Thanks.

    PMDG 777

In flight, experiencing numerous equipment cooling system overrides. I find myself constantly resetting the override. This is disrupting flights with engine shutdowns in flight. Generators also momentarily shut off and then turn back on. Something is causing this to occur as often as it does and I am obviously overlooking something. How is this corrected? Thanks.
