  1. @MatthiasKNU, I know you have done exceptional work in bringing free photosceneries of high quality to the P3D user base. Instead of us trying to recreate the equivalent of BlackShark.AI, is there an alternate route where the community could help (i.e.funding, assistance) to make more projects come to light? Thanks, Vincent
  2. Love how this new release is just about scenarios and not about flight simulation anymore. Clearly tells you where their priorities are and what FS2020 users are looking for.
  3. I think people really fail to understand why simmers stick with prepar3d as they can’t comprehend that simmers fly for different reasons. Prepar3d is not going anywhere as their main market is not the consumer one (and this is a good thing). This is a good thing as they will always prioritise flying fidelity over anything else. I have been flying for around 12 years now and I don’t care if Prepar3d V6 brings in better scenery. I don’t care because I only fly study level aircrafts and it is all about fidelity. I am not interested in moving to FS2020 as I still believe that there are not enough study level aircraft offerings and the current ones lack maturity. This is again just my opinion.
  4. Can you both please stop with the arguing? Everyone is entitled to his opinion but please don't take everything personally. This kind of back and forth is not very productive. I like reading about the speculations/opinions on this thread and would not like to see another one get locked by admins.
  5. For me it is just a question of time. I haven't bought MSFS yet and I am just waiting for the platform to mature until it caters my flight sim needs. I have been wrestling with the idea of maybe moving to MSFS for VFR once the A2A Comanche comes out. In terms of IFR, I think I will stick to P3D for now. Vincent
  6. I have been flying solely in VR for the last 4 years. I tried nearly every solution (incl flyinside). I highly recommend using ovrdrop with your usual flying software (aivlasoft efb v2 / Navigraph charts / Active Sky / Checklist). Just select one of your monitors to be displayed in ovrdrop. At home I use my top monitor for p3d v5 and the bottom one for everything else and display it in ovrdrop at 30 fps. When I move my mouse down in the VR cockpit, the ovrdrop display is in focus and back up again to go back to the VR cockpit. I also to resize the ovrdrop window do that it looks like an EFB in-flight.
  7. Hahaha, can't believe you guys are still complaining about not enough value for $20!
  8. There is more than meets the eye with this update but unfortunately I think the developer did not include it in the expansion description. I fly the Q400 solely in shared cockpit and we were surprised how the plane was more stable! In the past we did experience lag and bugs but it seems Majestic injected a lot of bug fixes with this expansion as well. Also I don't understand these complaints about paying $20 for an expansion. For christ sake PMDG charges $70 for their expansions! If you are going to be flying study level airplanes and not spending more than $20, Idk what to tell you. Vincent
