  1. I ended up buying an i5, 8 gigs of RAM and one terabyte. I thought it was going to run awfully but I am getting solid 60 fps on medium high-medium low settings. Now, will it run like that with the PMDG 737, 747 and 777?
  2. Nice to know the 7500U without dedicated graphics card can run it that well! Did you use any tweaks? I am buying an HP 15 laptop with the I7-7500U, 8 gigs RAM and a 1TB hard drive, I hope to get similar performance
  3. (UPDATE) Since I'm not going to get a good performance on a laptop, I'll build another PC
  4. The problem with the old system is that received the overload blew up so repairing it would mean to buy it again and the price is practically the same as the VivoBook I mentioned
  5. I've seen them, but they are too expensive for what I've planned to spend on my laptop
  6. Hello everyone Last Tuesday a power overload blew out my computer loosing everything I had there. Since I am beginning the University next year I am thinking on moving to a laptop which can render video, run Photoshop, some games, web browsing, and run FSX with PMDG's 737, 747, and 777, Aerosoft's Airbus, REX, and some add on scenery (FlyTampa Saint Marteen, LatinVFR Guatemala, Costa Rica, Tegucigalpa) So I have 4 options: Asus VivoBook S15: Core i5 7200u GT 940MX 8GB DDR4 RAM 1TB HDD DELL Inspiron 15 5565: AMD A12-9700P Integrated Radeon R7 graphics 8GB DDR4 RAM 1TB HDD ASUS X556UA: Core i5 7200U Intel HD620 graphics 8GB DDR4 RAM 1TB HDD 8GB DDR4 RAM HP Pavilion 14-al001la Core i5 6200U Intel HD 520 graphics 8GB DDR4 RAM 1TB HDD 8GB DDR4 RAM So which do you think will be a good decision?
  7. Thank you! After some tweaking sessions I am getting stable 30 fps even in heavy weathe and rain
  8. Hey guys I´m having some troubles with the shaders on FSX. As you can see on the image above, the aircraft sahders look really bad. I don´t know what is happening but it is shure I´m getting mad with it.
  9. A good trick for PMDG aircraft fis to lower the vc model quality and resolution. To get the best from you graphics card, download NVIDIA Inspector and Google the settings for that card Know your PC, FSX is CPU based so to get great performance it is good to overclock or to use an i7. Also, on the right side there is an FSX/P3D config guide, maybe that helps. I used that guide and some tips from: http://www.avsim.com/topic/497682-fsx-tweaks-help/#entry3509602 And now I get good frames Good luck!
  10. God! No overclock capability and no money for a new CPU!
  11. Hey everybody! I just want to know if anyone can help me to tweak my FSX (Boxed edition) to get high frames and great graphics. I have a non edited cfg and no slider moved in the sim. My PC specs: i3 3250 (3.5 GHz) 10GB DDR3 1600 PNY GTX 750ti AsRock H61M-VG3 My add-ons REX 2.0 (No Overdrive) PMDG 737 NGX PMDG 777 with the 300 expansion Airbus X (318, 319, 320 and 321) FlyTampa Saint Maarten LatinVFR Guatemala city LatinVFR MROC
