  1. Dave: Thanks for the info. YES- ATC Assigns approaches was checked! Unchected it .. all works fine!
  2. Dave: If you tell me how to post a screenshot to the reply , I have one showing the full p2atc screeen with the corrupted flight plan. glenn
  3. Dave: I read your response, but there might be more to it. The HOLD pattern for the RNAV(GPS) approach should have the IAF at MATTE. In the current flight plan the IAF is at SQUR. The turn inbound is at MATTE instead of the IAF at MATTE. Looks like the whole holding pattern is shifted and centered at SQUIR. Take a look at the approach plate for the RNAV RWY 24. Maybe this problem is already solved if you change the the INBOUND and OUTBOUND legs ... maybe not. Take a look. Glenn
  4. Dave: Here is the exact sequence of events: 1) Sel NEW plan 2) Sel KFRG as DEPARTURE airport ( by clicking on the airport on the map) 3) Sel KFOK as the DESTINATION airport (by clicking on the airport on thr map) 4) Click APPR 5) Sel Runway RW24, Approach: RNAV-RW24-R24, Transition MATTE 6) Click LOAD 7) Flight plan displays correctly, with MATTY followed by HAGIK snd then RW24. (All looks good) 8) Click VALIDATE (All still looks good) 9) Click FILE : (Takes a long time to process) 10) Flight plan corrupted. RACETRACT position shifts down on map, IAF identified as SQUIR. Actually flight plan shows 2 SQUIRS. The distance between the 2 racetrack turns is shown as 0.1nm and then 0.1nm till next turn. a) Then comes SQUIR via direct, TRK 236, Dist 4.0 NM b) Then comes another SQUIR Via ILS-RW24-I24, trk 236 Dist 0.0 nm ( THATS ZERO miles) c) Then comes KFOK I24-RW24 It appears that all is good until you hit "File" then it all gets corrupted. I have no clue where this SQUIR comes from! Hope this helps, Glenn

  6. Hi Dave: There seems to be a mathamatical problem when adding a approach to a flight plan. When there is a HOLD or RACETTRACK in the approach, the hold courses are not correctly computed. For instance, for KFOK, RNAV (GPS) RWY 24, the computed hold courses are 326 (inbound) and 146(outbound)... they should be 236 and 056. Can verify by entering this flight plan: KFRG DPK KFOK app rwy ils rwy 24. I believe this error is across the board for all hold racetrack patterns. Needless to say tracking the computed courses send you into never, never land! glenn
  7. Dave: I switched to NOAA weather(Config) instead using SIM weather..works FINE! Switched back to SIM wearher ....dead!
  8. Airport KISP Config:SIM weather' Metar weather From x-plane Metar.rwx file 2017/12/21 13:56 KISP 211356Z 01011KT 10SM FEW160 SCT250 01/M08 A3018 RMK AO2 SLP219 T00111078 Hope this helps\\ Glenn
  9. Dave: Found a problem with ver 2.4.0.2 x64. Loads fine. Problem with connect: When connect is pushed pilot2atc connects to x-plane ... sort of! a) shows call sign b) Shows 3 line text message ...simulator connected, recognition engine... Grammers connected. c)The connect button DOES NOT light. d) Aircraft does not display on map e) Can import a saved flightplan but... will not respond to APPR key. Goes into a busy mode... never exits program freezes. Pushing connect again has no effect. Had to revert to 2.4.0.1x64 which works fine
  10. Thanks Dave for the prompt reply. All is well... running as administrator fixed the problem. In previous versions if I clicked the Pilot2atc icon, it automatically forced me to give permission to Run as Administrator before the program loaded. In the new version ( I believe ) the program loads with no prompt, I assumed that the administrator thing was automatically taken care of .. it wasn't To get it to work you have to run from the icon after choosing "run as administrator" or change the "properties) to run as administrator before displaying the icon on the Taskbar. Anyway, it all works now ... thanks again Dave!
  11. Down loaded and installed Ver 2.4 x64. No problem with installation ... but pilot2ATC wont connect to X-Plane 11. Re-installed ver 2.4 x64 but it still wont connect. Re installed older version of pilot2atc 2.3xx and it connects and works fine. Re-installed ver 2.4 x64 but it still wont connect. Have the latest version of XPUIPC .... 32/64 bit. Am I missing something?
  12. Dave: Installed 2.2.0.8 .... problem still exists. Works fine IF "Autoload Recommended procedures" is NOT checked. Fails as before if it is checked. Is it possible that the two options are mutually exclusive? Glenn
  13. Dave: Tried it again with with no-options set .... works fine. However, if "Autoload Recommended procedures is checked .. it fails as described.
  14. Hi Dave: Thanks for the quick reply. ATC assignment options: 1) Force pilot runway selection 2) Auto Load Recommended Procedures 3) Export SID/STAR/Approach Waypoints 4) Export Cleared Flight plan Vector Leg Distance 2 Also: X-plane Flt plan Path (filled with path) TERPS Local folder (filled) Flight plan folder (filled) Glenn
  15. Seems to be a bug when filing a flight plan. Flight plan can be created, with desired approach. Plan validates OK. However, when trying to file .. approach way points are deleted and only the Departure airport and destination airport are displayed.... all other waypoints deleted. (try flight from KFRG to KHPN. Alt 4000, GS 100, Desent rate 500. Approach ILS-RW34-I34, Transition:Vectors to JETE). Would send screenshots ... but don't know how to add them as an attachment. Thanks
